We used a real spatula. Like the skinny ones for icing. We got one also made out of silicone and it did help to keep the diaper cream tub sanitary. It was especially useful when you couldn’t have clean hands to put in the rash cream container. Also easy to clean. I do think the baby specific one is crap though, we bought one but quickly switched to a real spatula so it was longer and less flexible.

I agree with that, except I used the heck out of baby towels (I did have a couple thicker ones, though, & live in a really hot place) & the changing pad thing. 😂

I have only used my changing pad maybe 3 times in 2 years and that was for emergency diaper changes in a public restroom. I didn’t wanna lay her on that nasty changing table… nice it wipes off and right back in the diaper bag where it just sits in the bottom lol. And shoes are not needed ever lol unless they’re walking around in public babies don’t walk so they’re pointless. But 1 exception is cold weather soft bottom baby booties to keep those tootsies warm. If you don’t have a full body suit. ❤😊
