This is supposed to be a recording from 1961 ... and bios for Charles McLean say he is a Gospel singer from Greensboro, North Carolina, and was a member of The Gospelaires of Dayton from 1962 - 1978 (or 1979). So the bio is either a little off ... or this is a singer from before he joined ... ... My guess ... The bio is off and he joined before 1962 because there are few gospel tenor voices as powerful as Charles'

Props for the royal navy and breaking away from rome. Plus reforming the english healthcare was good too. That and your daughter Elizabeth ended up being just as famous and arguably planted the seeds of the English and later british empire.

Yahweh created THE MAN from the dust of the earth. One MAN. Gen 2: 7. THE MAN was the IMAGE of Yahweh in corruptible flesh and blood. THE MAN was both Male and female in a male body. THE MAN was in Yahweh's garden for 12 years before Yahweh MADE Adam and Eve. MADE NOT created. Yahweh laid down THE MAN and removed the female chromosomes from THE MAN and MADE the woman. THE MAN ceased to exist. NOW there was Adam and Eve. The IMAGE of Yahweh ceased to exist . Now the Image of Yahweh is man and woman joined together creating new life. .Gen 2: 22- 24. There are only two MEN in the inspired scripture called the IMAGE of Yahweh. THE MAN in genesis 2 and our Brother Yahshua. BOTH were male and female in a Male body. Our Brother Yahshua is the second MAN. Adam and Yahshua had nothing in common. Nothing. it is all written.

(1) No matter how many times you hear it, beautiful and moving. (2) The current version of Yerushalayim Shel Zahav includes a final verse, not part of this first, original 1967 version. Perhaps that final verse was added after the Six Day War? (3) The final verse reads, "We have returned to the market, the cistern, and the square. The shofar calls on the Temple Mount in the Old City. And from the caves in the rocks, 1,000 suns glow again. We will go down to the Dead Sea by way of Jericho."
@gristlybear615
@gristlybear615 9 ай бұрын
The original performance was prior to the 6 day war in 1967. At that time the old city and Temple Mount were under the control of Jordan. Jews were not allowed into the old city. The final verse was added after the war.

When "American Bandstand" went national in 1957, ABC only had 48 affiliates coast to coast. In smaller markets, ABC programming was shared with the local CBS or NBC affiliate. The jingle on this clip for WABC radio in New York was definitely in the pre-top 40 era. For a time in the late 50s, you had both the Metropolitan Opera broadcast and Alan Freed on WABC. What a contrast!
