Hi Akiko, this movie gave me goosebumbs, something i rarely experience these days. The story is perfect, the actors are excellent, very well trained in kenjutsu and , the katana look authentic (also important to me as a hobby tsukamaki shi). At one moment the hamon of one katana was clearly visible. These are moments that make a movie stand out of the mainstream; the eye of detail and authenticity of the time period. Please make sure, when making a sequel, that you keep this. I would buy the complete series! I subscribed so i don't miss anything new! Best regards from the Netherlands.

The way swords are handled and the sword fights are completely different from Japan. Is the man Chinese?Even if the actor is bad at sword fighting, Japanese people would never do sword fighting like this. The sword is handled differently.If this sword fight was directed by the Japanese, then you are wrong. It's like China.

Compliments to Direction through frame, noting the chemistry of natural lighting and wardrobe; action and camera timing brought home a solid storyline in a short span. Look out Wonder Woman... we have Samurai Woman ;)

With the writer's strike going on & this comes along ....yes Netflix should be kicking your door down right now ! Great work , very well done , great story telling ! My journey started when I was a kid & I saw Shogan on TV and that started my whole Martial Arts aa a kid. I wish you the very best in getting this turned into a successful series.
