It really isnt a nice feeling when we are or our work is somehow rejected. I do take time to recalibrate and then i go and start again.:)

Exactly! I got married almost 3/4 of the way thru my MBA and then had a difficult pregnancy that i wasn’t able to finish the last sem. So 9 years down the road i went back to finish my MBA to show my kids that i do walk the talk - my reminder to them to always finish what they have started.:)

You probably can guess my take. If the amount of work to apply isn't a lot of overhead, keep trying. If it's a lot of overhead instead spend that time doing your own creative thing, engaging with people on your channel.

Yeah, that's a good point. I have so many ideas for my own channel, it probably doesn't make sense to spend time "working" for someone else. Thanks for your continued support! 🖖🏼

Sara, you and my husband gave the same advice, so I'm definitely going to take it. You know that consistency is my issue, so that's what I want to work on to build my own channel before worrying about design team work. Thanks for the feedback! 🖖🏼

Hi Amy, I'm new-I discovered you during the Creative Spark Summit. I'm an avid Canva user and recently started a template scrapbook for a club I'm involved in. I usually use 12 x 12 style.

Kathy, welcome to the Creativity Playground! I'm so happy that we met through the awesome Creative Spark Summit. I'm working on a variety of Canva templates now, as well. I want to continue using 12x12 layouts for my existing scrapbooks and then use some of the smaller sizes to tell the stories of my travels or random memories I want to keep that don't really fit into the categories of my other scrapbooks. 🖖🏼

12x12 and 8x8
@creativityplayground
@creativityplayground 7 ай бұрын
Michelle, when I was a paper scrapbooker, I only did double-page 12x12 layouts. I'll definitely do more 12x12 in future videos as I have lots of albums to finish. :-) The good news is that the template from this video will easily convert to an 8x8 layout if you desire.

Where did you find your box for the sponge dauber?

I'm not sure as it was a gift. Just do a search for Sponge Dauber Storage Box and you should be able to find one. I did make an insert listing all of the colors. Not only does it show the order of the daubers, it also protects the lid from getting inky.
