Thank you so much! Just finally did my first 50-50. On a really low ledge. It's not so much the pop now, it's more the control of the front foot slide and leveling out correctly. I think it's more I'm just unfamiliar with it all over again. practice practice

Thanks Craig. For sure, if you watch this video compared to the one before, you can tell I'm definitely more encouraged now that I'm seeing some progress again. Using skater XL on PS4 and still hoping they release a bunch of these modded maps 🤞🤞🤞
@feebleskates99134 жыл бұрын
I think they'll probably pull community maps from the SkaterXL Modding communities like the one on Discord and mainly at skaterxl.mod.io. Hopefully. They may have to modify them slightly if there's things like corporate brandings or unlicensed images. But if they were smart they would either pull from that resource OR introduce a map editor and then host their own community maps. But mods like the ones that give you late flips or even a more realistic gravity response they'll just have to get busy and code into their own game. I'm sure they're getting this feedback from the gaming community, because most everyone wants the same features. But yeah fingers crossed! Keep pushing!

Around Lake Hollingsworth, near the college there. if you drive around the lake look for the big anchors and rusty chains and you'll see it. Pretty nice usually cleared out. There's a parking lot you can use pretty close to it a little further down if you can find an open spot

5050s on a rail are sketchy, always. Throwing them around on your first day back is gnarly. Boardslides look good. I have to spend 5 minutes remembering how to Ollie every Saturday when I go skate. No kidding it takes me 40 minutes of skating to get back to where I was the week before and then I can start my session. And in the current heat and humidity it is rough. But better to suffer a little than not skate. Welcome back, hope you get some more time to skate. I find early early morning works well when you have a lot going on and the summer heat is hitting.
@feebleskates99134 жыл бұрын
Definitely if there's a blazing sun going I feel my body just giving out almost immediately after a couple tricks. I think my 50/50 issue is mostly just keeping my weight centered and leaning back some when I goto exit. After watching the video it looks like the ones that locked in and slid good just nosedived off the front when I approached the end
@AdventuresInSkateboarding4 жыл бұрын
@@feebleskates9913 you definitely have it locked in. It all comes down to board time. The more we spend in the board the more we will get or maintain that skating posture. Stay safe out there. And ... Stay Rad Sir.

Dude, that looks like a great flat bar. I'm not surprised you nailed all 3 heights, and that level 3 to 1 decline is really cool.
@AdventuresInSkateboarding4 жыл бұрын
Nice work, I am watching this as my video builds. Are videos will be on the same topic. I went with the element Nijah flat bar (square). I am terrible at flat bar so this is a good time to learn. I haven't skated my on a decline yet but, I tend to skate rails better on a decline. I think it forces my knees to bend. I will have to give it a go next time. You will see in my video that this will be a ground up learning process for me. But hey, 2020 year of the home skate park. Flat bars and flat ground will improve.
@feebleskates99134 жыл бұрын
Nice! It was a debate for me which rail to go with but I figured ultimately learning a round rail might eventually help me learn at least the concept of handrails even if I never truly skate one lol :-) That ship may have sailed for me but you never know. Can't wait to see yours

@@feebleskates9913 I am a little better on board slides on tound rails but better on grinds on square. I finished the main part of the edit last night but still need to put my narrative on it. The goal this week is to skate it 3 days after work. I feel that is a reasonable goal.
