Tirzepatide both straight and compounded took away my chronic pain, fatigue and inflammation, almost totally eliminated my sweet tooth, and allowed me to drop over 60lbs in several months. This medication is saving lives.

This short video is very informative. I was concerned about the nausea. Wegovy was terrible on my GI. Also very tired. I am hopeful with Zepbound. What’s the best place to take the shot?
@HannahCobana7 күн бұрын
I’ve been on Zepbound for over a month and my mom has been on Mounjaro for about 3 months and both of us only really feel nauseous when we eat too much. If you have GERD you might need like tums or something at night as you’re getting used to the meds, I was getting really nauseous when laying down because the appetite suppressant part was making me not eat frequently to manage my GERD but I am over that now and it’s under control again. My mom and I both take it in the stomach, you want to ideally take it where you have a lot of fat. We put ice packs on for about half an hour before we do it and don’t feel the needle at all and sometimes feel the burn of the meds. I know I’m not a doctor or anything but I hope some of my personal experience and my mother’s was helpful at least

Is compound simiglutide really effective? Or should i switch?
@luzmariaflores13 күн бұрын
Just go to the fucking gym. This doesn’t happen when you workout your pores are releasing toxins and your building muscles aka tighting the skin. With any major weight loss lose skin is a thing but all the folks who I have seen work out don’t deal with an aging face. But yes take an injection which then requires more chemicals and surgeries. Y’all just out here, drinking the Kool-Aid instead of going for a walk. Ima lol when they come out with all of the horrid medical stories lawsuits and then recall it. Yall want an easy fix for everything. Consume consume consume 😂

I took my first dose of compounded tirzepatide and lost 8 lbs in a week. It TOTALLY zaps your appetite. I only step on the scale at my weight loss clinic so idk how much I’ve lost on my second week yet. It’s very expensive but I’m loving the results so idc

Don't start with 10mg. The starting dose is 2.5mg but that's specifically for Mounjaro.

I lost 20 pounds by restricting and tracking calories. The problem is sticking with it.
@modernbodyclinic25 күн бұрын
Congrats on the 20 pounds-that’s huge! But you’re right, calorie counting can feel like holding your breath. Instead of just tracking, also focus on what you eat-protein, fiber, and healthy fats can help you stay full and make it easier to stick with long-term!
@bhnurse16Ай бұрын
I just started week 2 at 2.5mg and I was so surprised last week how the only time I thought about food, was when I needed to make my meals. It felt like for the first time in my life, I wasn't thinking about food throughout the day or needing to practice self control. I didn't snack after dinner and didn't have any cravings for something sweet like I usually would. I've had some mild side effects but I lost 4lbs so far which is more than I have been able to do in months which I'm grateful for.

Which side effects did you have?
@bhnurse1612 күн бұрын
@MsBaneta I had a slight bit of nausea on my first day when I ate dinner, and I had a few episodes of diarrhea in my few week and Imodium helped. I feel fortunate that that is all I have experienced. I have lost 11 lbs in a little under a month at this point and I'm very grateful. My eating habits have changed naturally in the sense that I don't eat afters meals or ever feel like eating sweets which has helped.

I stated week January 5 and one lose 2 lbs. and like you as well mild affects. I started taking the stool softeners early on so I did not experience the constipation that I’ve heard about. I have experienced being cold here and there but that goes and comes. I’m eating my proteins/ veggies and fruit. I can do better with the water though. I am drinking it but not as much as i should.

My insurance denied it and I appealed twice and I advised them they were keeping me sick and I would fight for my health, I let them know that they disrespected my trusted physician that I chose, my doctor played a big part in my appeal and I won! Waiting for my fedex package which will be Monday 11/4. Thank you Jesus and I'm grateful and going to get this weight off by following the process, excersing, eating right and getting a new hip. My physician has been amazing and I want to make him proud.

I'm down 58 pounds in 5 months. It's a little overwhelming NOT being hungry😮. Good luck on your journey! Remember your protein 💪, ❤

I’m going to do the same. My insurance company is saying they don’t cover monjauro or any of the GLP-1’s. I received mine through my Laser away appts for my light facial hair. They were offering monjauro. I met with a nurse, did the consultation and I was approved right then and there. I am pre diabetic/ high blood pressure, but I was prescribed a water pill for that and of course my BMI IS over 30. The next Dr.’s visit I have I’m going to do as you did and reach out to my insurance and tell them the same thing because it’s working. I lost 2 lbs in 1

More successful to go low and slow, I am T2 diabetic. A lot more to unpack with this medication, more than weight loss. The medication has changed my life. Totally intolerant to other diabetic meds. You really need to have a hard look at your diet, you just can eat less bad food . You really need to eat more protein and less carbs . It’s not a quick fix . 🐨💗

Listen, you are an MD. You have no schooling in what humans have evolved to eat (anthropology). You don't know biochemistry or physics. You should not speak on this subject unless you have listened to someone that really understands the subject. I'd advice you to go listen to Bart Kay. That is the only reliable source i have found on the subject. He really knows this area. GL!
