Only respect for her I truly thought about my girls that I keep away from drag racing pretty sure it was a deal breaker with my wife.

I’ve seen Linda in the 500😢 Festival Parade a few years ago in downtown Indianapolis. Regrettably, I ‘ve never met her face to face. But I remember her well from Hurst photo ads in Hot Rod Magazine when I was 12. She would have about 20 then. How can you not love a Southern car girl like this?! Maybe someday the opportunity will come that allows me to meet her face to face. In the meantime, I remain married to a car girl from Greensboro who has a Hot Wheels 2SS Camaro convertible and a 4th Gen Z28 convertible. We met over our Camaros. I still have the car my dad let me order new at age 15….a 1969 Camaro Z/28. Life is good; can’t complain but sometimes I still do. ❤to you Miss Vaughn! You look great! It’s neat to get to hear the story of the lady I only knew from racing magazines because I didn’t start watching races until the early 90’s. What a cool lady

Really enjoyed the interviews, but cannot help thinking what these 2 living legends personally think about modern day "woke" nascar, with all their rules & regulations....don't really care about how far technology has advanced in the new race cars, because something has definitely been "lost" in Nascar today....there have been rumors that Nascar may possibly go "electiric", which proves that they would ultimately be "caving" to our present administration....if those does happen, Nascar will definitely be FINISHED...part of the excitement of going to a live race is to hear the "noise" of a race engine...would really love to see a group start a "nostalgia" series with at least the "bodies" of 60's, 70's, & 80's race cars- and they could still have some modern technology & safety equipment...I know that Tony Stewart is trying that with his race series, but all the cars look the "same"...can u imagine seeing Ford Torinos, Dodge Chargers, Chevy Monte Carlo's flying around the track with updated technology?! Guess I just miss the old days... 🏁 😔

She's drafting rite along hoping to keep up, & doing a good job. Im glad she's letting them talk & not interupting them like some interviewers do. Some interviewers put their ego 1st & want to be the story.
