And anyone can post a link to build in Questlog.gg but I'm even showing you my exact setup, so I can't really go around that can I? One of the most important aspects of a warfare is intel! Collision resistance on this build is low, so they CC me often but because of all passive and active defs I stay alive. Most of the time they try to skip me, since it's better for them to have my mana depleted at some point and stay in arena so I can't do much :(. They will mostly try to push me away from edge if the map allows it, so if I position myself well, this is not going to be a problem.

Defense is better than endurance ... I got 3.1k melee Defense and 2.k range Defense and 800 on endurance and I'm way tankier

Basically it's a combination of all def stats, endurance will only reduce the chance for your opponent to crit on you, so naturally if their crit chance is low, whether you have 500 or 1000 endurance, it won't make much of a difference they will not crit anyway, so high endurance only helps vs high crit chance weapons like dagger/crossbow/spear/greatsword, maybe others but not sure. However most of their attacks are series of multiple attacks (except GS), this is where skill damage resistance and damage reduction comes into play, they reduce the damage of each individual attack by a set amount, so in the end this directly counters dagger and crossbow - when they do 50 attacks in just a few sec (1 skill can apply multiple attacks), each of these attacks will be reduce and you can see in the video, sometimes goes down to 0 damage, while at the same time if you have counter barrier on you will deflect damage back to them, so the more they hit you the more they defeat themselves. On the other side vs GS, when it does a single big damage attack so i will not reduce it too much and they can still hit me hard. When this happens I would simply use my def buffs - combination of high def, max hp, dmg reduction and hp regen, making sure to stay near immortal even vs powerful attacks. P.S. Also a big question is whether you use SNS or any other weapon as main, where if you have same def baseline stats, SNS will always be tankier because of block chance, as far as I know even if you have block chance, you can't passively block unless you have SNS as main. And you have many proc effects coming from blocking itself.

My base stats are slightly lower but I found this balance between offense-defense work well for me.

Not at all, actually idk why people go out waiting for the big update and not playing,.. now it's the best time to catch up if you are behind or simply stack resources and blessing on base items and prepare for T2 so when it comes you won't waste time grinding but get the gear asap and later jsut have fun with it!

There are many things to catch up on, you might ask for more time before the update… For example: • Leveling weapon masteries • Increasing active and passive skill levels • Stacking blessings on T1 gears • Leveling runes • Completing lithography • Fishing • Participating in world boss events for drops • Earning lucent to purchase the next battle pass or skin • Trying new weapons • Leveling up morphs • pvp gvg prepare before the update.

I don't know why very often people miss the point of certain topics. I'm not defending or attacking anyone. I don't know if you watched the whole video but what I;m talking about is: If P2W players are just milked out of their money, they leave, leading to F2P players also leaving (also because of lot of things feel unfair for both sides) and trading in TaL is bound to p2w element because of how the AH works. When a lot of players leave, we have a massive decline of playerbase and game dying in very short period of time. If I'm to defend anything in this case, that would be the majority of player's interest or just a decent game with good potential. TaL can easily be AAA game if it wasn't for those fundamental issues regarding their business model. But I can see that working for them if they only want the short term quick buck, just kind of weird to see someone investing 10 years for development and then trowing it away in 1 year... who knows

Exactly, the value of the money spend is absurdly low in this case, but lets see how the devs will deal with this, who knows maybe they will add a shortcut for anybody who bought archboss weapon?

You missed my point,... you can already see that player count goes down, with this the amount of p2w players will also go down, therefore less lucent will be added to the game, regardless of prices, less and less people will be able to generate lucent/trade with one another because AH is tangled with premium currency and not the usual ingame currency. Also 1000 USD for a single game having fun? I wonder how much fun and for how long I can buy AAA games on steam for the same money?

I guess it depends on personal point of view, but in this game's case this practice will eventually drive even more people away and kind of destroy it, since other games are doing much better with different business model

You can check t2 weapons on maxroll and see for yourself, even base damage alone is higher for t2 weapons and stats likes almsot 2x

T1 arch boss weapons have same or lower base stat to T2 regular epics, if that's what you mean. But ye if they simply allow p2w players to upgrade t1 arch to t2 arch without having to farm again, this proves my point how much they emphasize on p2w activity...

That would be true if there was any outplay potential but the game is simply rng and gear that’s it.

The point is not wether you need it or not, but rather how expensive turns out to be and that most p2w players even if they have a lot of money would probably feel screwed if they just spend so much and now have to dump it, resulting in them leaving the game = nobody generates lucent ingame, so f2p players can not continue to use one of the main systems in the game - the Auction house. Of course, unless they change something about it...

Also many other mmo games don't require you to spend this amount of money for such a short period of time and are actually doing better. I played games with people that spent 10k$ a week, sometimes a day. If You can afford it - it's Your choice. For me it's crazy to spend this much, for him it was nothing. I'm more concerned with players that didn't spend anything and now all their grinding goes towards trash can :)

As for lucent, the event you talk about are probably castle siege and tax delivery, as far as I know the lucent yo uget from there is actually coming from the people who buy it, so it is determined by how many people actually spend real money on lucent. This lucent is not coming just out of the game as you can see the amount is always variable. And arch boss weapon upgrade, ye it seems that way but imagine how unfair it is to other people as well, who have regular t1 weapons, why don't they get upgrade too...

You wont upgrade t1 to +12, rather convert the current t1 to t2 weapon which has +12, either way seems unfair to get upgrade for free for any weapon, if it's for free anyway...

Also in many cases people who do spend a lot of money on a single game skip what was supposed to be the reason they even play, and it turns out, it is possible that having advantage over others in a video game is just another coping mechanism for real life problems

@Eyeduka but this isn't a p2w. It's pay 2 progress. People who spend have a career and don't have all the time in the world to farm like you content creators, disabled people, jobless people, or even kids. Also, saying it's advantage to p2w in a game like T&L is redundant when this game is a rock paper scissors. You can spend 20k and still lose to a f2p.

No, that lucent is just in tax delivery. Siege and interserver battles generate lucent.

Even if that's the case we are going back to the problem with alliances and how small groups of people will always dominate regardless because it's p2w game anyway... Most people will never earn lucent this way
