The Ace Cafe is the saddest hipster hang out I've ever wasted a day visiting. Turned up on a real, classic Norton Dominator 99 cafe racer. Surrounded by plastic hipsters and modern bikes. Ordered by the ex filth who is the present owner/exploiter of the overpriced café to move so the Mazda MX-5 club could fill the car park. Left promptly and had a lovely couple of days at the Btooklands museum. Go to the museum and watch the Leather Boys when you get home. Don't line the pockets of the ex copper. Tritons are abominations btw.

A caff racer by definition is any bike that has had the unwanted bits stripped off to make it lighter clip ons fitted to make it lower and not a bike with a triumph engine in it like was suggested by the muppets in this video.

having lived behind the ACE CAFE , beresford ave , for most of my life ( 63 years age ) its so good to see THE GOOD TIMES BACK, AGAIN , YOU VE ALL MADE A OLD MAN VERY HAPPY , and i m SHAKING ALL OVER ! ,( JOHNNY KID AND THE PIRATES ! .

OH Come on! No biker in the 60s would call it a Cafe (pronounced Cafey), Back in those days it was a CAFFFFFFF as in Kath in Eastenders. You buy a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich in a Cafe and a poncey cup of coffee with a gallon of froth on it at a café, and a picture of elvis drawn in it HAHAHAHA. Stop trying to get the Yanks attention and say it like it is! Cafe Kaff. No decent trucker or biker EVER goes to a Café

The thing you have to remember is original the working class lads, the "Ton up boys" are long gone, replaced by a much younger posh crowd. and so you get a Caf-fay racer. But the bloke towards the end got it right.

You can make a CB into something very special. Just start putting some money into it. I plan on doing the same. CB's are also easier to get parts for.
