So much soul. Someone once told me that if you want to see a band up close, be in the first 3 or 4 rows. But if you want to hear a band, stand as close to the mixing board as you can. Imagine how much better it would have sounded further back where you could hear his vocals in the mix.

I can tell you, as a guy that has been in so many "bar-bands" that when I got pegged as the lead guitarist in a short lived psycho-billy band, I really had to step up my game. I really had to pull every trick I knew, from country to metal, to keep up! "Eric & the Jerks" will always be my fondest memory in playing music! Long live Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures!
