I paid around 4000 Swiss Francs for 3.5 weeks :) I also had a single room in the EF Hotel, this is the most expensive stay. If you choose to stay at a host family or in shared rooms, then the price is lower :)

hi, thank you :) no they did not speak english, I made an appointment via kakaotalk, and in the salon, I communicated via papago, a language translator app. the nails were quite expensive, the bear & the bunny costed extra, in total I paid about 150 dollars :)

I never heard of that EF residence in Dongdaemun, but yes it’s a bit far from the Campus. But I hope it’s a good residence to stay 🫶🏽

Actually I did not :) I just knew how to say hello, and I showed them on the menu card what I wanted. But later in school, I learned it and I tried to speak more and more :)

Hi! :) I did not have any problems regarding paying, but if I can give you one advice it will be this: just book EF for 2 weeks (the required minimum) and decide later if you want to extend your EF experience. I originally booked EF for 3 weeks, but I did not go to school for the last few days (I did not even go to get my certificate). My main aim was to learn some very basic Korean & to meet new people, for that, 2 weeks are enough. I was not very happy with EF, because the school time schedule was very inconvenient, 15min lunch breaks, homework everyday... Many people I met there have regretted to book so many weeks in advance, they "lost" a ton of money. I also did not join any activities, I explored everything by myself and some friends I met there :)

hi dylan! so cool, I'm so excited for you :) you will make friends easily, just be approachable and talk to people :) everyone is nervous about making friends there, so they are all looking to connect with people, don't worry about that :) yes there are some places I recommend to go like gwangjang market, gyeongbokgung palace, starfield library, namsan tower.
