In Ontario we de-ice. I guess on the west coast you have to de-manure. Shamefull way for the shithawks to treat a grand old bird.

Isn't it a no drone flying area downtown Victoria? I've seen the signs saying no drones at the harbor, and where the cruise ships dock?

look up micro drone rules here. Extreme vigilance and caution to be used at all times basically common sense. The sign you are seeing are probably by property owner such as the Victoria Harbour authority not allowing people to launch or land drones on their properties. nrc.canada.ca/en/drone-tool/. When you open this map click the icon on teh left that looks like a video game controller. Check teh dot next to Micro drone then use the map to zoom into teh areas you are interested in. Click inside any of the large circle and a notice will open with rules about micro drones within those circles

@Westcoastbeauty I've got a micro drone, but I wouldn't fly down there with helicopters and sea planes landing all the time. It isn't prohibited, but the wording strongly suggests not to fly there. I used to fly way over the limit up at a friend's place on the Malahat, until DJI changed the software, so it's not allowed any more. I also tried flying at a friend's house a couple of miles from the Wilkinson road jail, and the software wouldn't let that happen either.

@ophiuchus9071 i take a different route from a recent clear-cut that is quick and not muddy, it comes onto the main trail, west of mystic beach. Watch for a video in the next week there are very high tides forecast for Thurs Fri and Sat
