Fair enough, I think that this is my favorite version, I love how they both go together. Just like how much I love Prey :)

While I like that dd has a distinct style, it low key didn't really do much for me, it felt like a generic amalgamation of those influences rather then something distinct and cool With 2, the 2D 3D blend just adds enough novelty to the game's aesthetic that it looks neat

I liked the first game's style. It felt fitting for the aesthetic and locations. Big lines because of big shadows and all that. The second game adding 3D stuff and visual effects really brought it to another level though.

@@C4xR34 oh it fits what aimed for "grim dark + tasteful comic booky pop designs" It's just what it went for doesn't do much for me imo, it's not "bad" and I'd rather have 10 dd's over "fugly creepy looking, stiff moving hyper realistic game number 145222th"

“How absurd… to be anything at all” I love that quote. This whole scene was huge for me. I couldn’t figure out how to unlock gospel so I looked it up but I got to experience this scene on my own. It was unreal how much I related to Nowak here. Thank you for uploading this.

This scene is a favorite from me too, filled in this game with such great moments. The requirement to unlock Gospel is somewhat brutal but it's worth it for such an existential punch in the gut.

@@holidayoreoreal I love them too, that's why Brutal Orchestra quickly became a favorite for me. All the symbolism and thoughts and existential moments like these, then the gameplay and art and music make it such a fantastical game.

Tried to figure out how to unlock Gospel without help, accidentally saw a spoiler on how to do it. (To be fair I was never gonna figure it out), but god is this monologue beautiful. "It's so scary to exist, but I'm terrified of oblivion."

Hope I didn't spoil you on it. I had no idea how to recruit him too, the requirement is quite "hard" as it's the final zone and you kinda have to remove your members (and essentially end your run) to get Gospel. Also, yes, the monologue is very very beautiful, one of the most touching moments in this game.

No problem! Really found this interaction fascinating, even more so how and where it happened in the game so I had to record it. One of the most unique events I ever saw in games... Brutal Orchestra is just filled with these.
