Yep, higher seed picks. Which does feel like the correct reward for getting higher seed. I think the "person who goes first wins" is a myth in that format. Every single win I had in swiss was because I went second, and I lost the only game I went first, and I won my actual worst matchup going second. I think going first in P13 is powerful, because going first matters more if you have a snowballing effect, which tempo decks in wixoss seem to be. Unrest followed by miko's once per game and double miko fan is a great example. But if you dont have that kind of snowballing game plan, going second matters alot less in the matchups. Going second gives you a better chance to win damage races too. And since I was miko, I just knew when I rolled low and went second I was suppose to focus aggro more, and it pulled me through.

I don't disagree. I think in general the higher quality dissona level 1s are damage focused. Wawwolf, Muzica, Firecracker etc, even in more midrange plans, not capitalizing off of pond turtle can feel as wasted as missing those lane openers. Nova is fine, and so is that effective zhao Yun clone, but you there's a lot of ground to gain by going second

My guess is that that's how it's going to be for a long while. Once fessona peices come back in, you have a reason to play non dissona, but the card pool of good cards def diminished because of dissona (and blue archive soon) Very much feels that the design for the next year is "pick 1 of the last years gimmick. You can pick virtual dash, dissona midrange, struggle midrange, blue archive tempo, and defense faction control. Realllllll rotation looks like when arts come in. That's what I'm seeing on my JP journey

The thing is it still comes up in testing groups for gp. We basically all still try it out and we keep going "it's totally fine, just not as strong as X" So it's useable. Just not ...great anymore

Yes but less top table showings. I think that's what I was getting at. But being critical, I think that's because the Miko players didn't either play the correct build, or weren't playing the deck correctly in my opinion. I think Miko, when built and played right, has a higher win rate overall

Hmmmm. They are all kinda the same but with different slight positives and negatives matchups. I don't think that any of the dash decks are amazingly better than any other. But I think mayu avoids discard better, and I think that's probably better

Yeah I think she's a sleeper hit. Growing things above dissona vanish range, and keeping card advantage or resource advange makes her super flexable.

Must have forgot that one. Dream team peices are probably the most important part of a deck so not having it knocks it to F.

Yeah, matcha just ends up being more or less "air" for the dissona decks. It's a burst and level 1 that just gets you closer to the guard or the lvl 3 you need to open a lane. But yeah. I think if someone wants to run this deck they need to basically know every matchup. If they do, that deck can be insanely strong.

It's tough because Nova doesn't fully resist nanashi. It just costs some ener (carcharo or nanashi exceed or alfou) so it's not free, but still doable. The sunspot decks lately have been deus or Nova to avoid easy kills. But they suffer from lack of damage output. Outside of 5k, pond turtle, the level 2s also do work there to limit virus effects. Kinda like against over pursuit decks.

If you are going aggressive I don't think entwined is ever truly bad. Damage is always a good thing to do. But, often refresh is 1 damage, so the added effects are pure upside then
