My dad probably had 8 or 9 of those. If I knew then what I know now I would have kept at least one of them to this day. I thought they were Grandma cars though.

I remember when my little brother called mine a grandma car! I told him to hop in and we ripped the shit out of some old backroads. He owns 2 now…

I miss these luxury coupes. I have an M6 now, but there's something to be said about comfortable, easy cruising and stylish - albeit stylish is a love/hate with the Cougar/TBird

is it possible that you know the bleed pattern for a 1998 Mercury Sable what Wheels to do first
@ericsthename7 жыл бұрын
Elizabeth g yes, you want to start with the wheel furthest from the master cylinder, typically passenger side rear, then move to the closest wheels, drivers rear, pass front, drivers front

My car had 100k miles when I changed them. lowers looked OK, uppers significantly worse. The car had a clutch installed at about 90k miles, just prior to my ownership.

Did you do it yourself? How hard was it? How long would you say it took? Did you go with the WPC treated bearings? Sorry for all the questions. I'm debating if I should do mine myself.
@ericsthename9 жыл бұрын
Yes, I did it myself start to finish - it was a challenge to do without a lift, because you are up and down so much, but definitely doable. There is a great step by step at www.germanautosolutions.com/diy_tech/m5_rod_bearings/s85_rod_bearing_change_diy.php#thumb Ask any questions you need!
@ericsthename9 жыл бұрын
Oh and I did WPC treatment oem bearings and oem bolts.

It doesn't sound like that in person I hope, sounds like it needs bearings! Lol Just kidding around!
