I am a woman with not a great deal of hand strength so I have a very difficult time with the slide and then locking into place because it takes both of my hands to hold it. I have both a smith and Wesson M&P 22 and a Ruger 380, both very easy to field strip and clean. My p365 is new to me and very frustrating to disassemble. Are there any tricks or do I just have to take it to the gun store when it needs to be cleaned?
@UBRArsenal2 сағат бұрын
My wife has the same issue with her P365. We noticed that her P365 slide became easier to manipulate the more rounds she fired through it. You might need to shoot it more to break it in.

Asked about ammo but you name the brands and all that ammo is known shit ammo aside from lawman. Capital cartridge is light loaded shit that I had a squib with, maxxtech or maxammo also trash. 1st round I never heard of southern munitions I never heard of. Frangible ammo has issues. Like why you running the gambit instead of just getting decent stuff like blazer brass?

All the ammunition I showed in this video is what I use in all my other pistols, including those with compensators. I have experienced zero malfunctions with any of my other pistols; the only issue is with the CR920XP.

Meh..personal opinion I suppose. Mounting screws shldnt matter, if you install them properly w/ removable loctite, mostly because you're going to be removing them on occasion to change a battery on most optics - & they likely won't line back up exactly afterwards. So that's kind of pointless. Oh, also --- regardless it looks like sh*t 🤣

200 rounds through my new CR920XP today and it was basically a bolt action pistol. Going to clean and lube then put another 200 through it. Will be sending it back if it continues.

I just bought the echolon 4.5F comp(ported barrel) and it's a total game changer. Where you will see the biggest difference is follow up shots. The Walther PDP grip fails to keep gun firmly planted while doing double taps, thus leading to gun and sights to move off Target. The ergo on echolon is by far superior to the PDP. I don't know how the non-ported echelon is but the ported version makes a gun that is seemingly very light yet very stable

Thanks for the honest review... very disheartening. I have the same opinion of Shadow Systems as I do Lexus or Acura... Built on the rock solid chassis of Toyota and Camry but upscaled with everything I'd want (vs. need). Hoping Shadow Systems goes wildly public concerning this issue and does a complete ReDux launch, their reputation really has too much to lose if they don't. As a Texan, if I can support my Lonestar "Kin" I do, as a Vet and American... Trifecta Kudos, but it has to be reliable. I was going to snag one and decided to watch a couple videos... glad I did, I was not expecting to see so many honest issues with it. Reminds me a bit of the S&W CSX (though that was overblown, and I love that micro!). Thanks again.

I would like to start by expressing my gratitude for your service. I'm glad my review was helpful. While I generally prefer to support all firearms manufacturers, I feel it’s important to share my experience with this particular pistol. Given its price, I expected the pistol to be broken in and highly reliable right out of the box. Unfortunately, after my experience, I don't think I will purchase another Shadow Systems firearm again. It's disappointing because I was looking forward to making this my new everyday carry (EDC). Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment. Have a great day.

@ Unfortunately I may be in the same boat. No excuse for the lack of QC on this level, and if SS is not bending over backwards to replace or proactively assess and mitigate this (for their customers), then their rep deserves to be tarnished. Curious to see what SS does and if they ramp up their “Service Before Self”. Thanks again… Hellcat Pro Comp here I come :).

Few stove pipes on my CR920XP during the break-in period, using Federal 115 FMJ. After the 3rd mag I didn't have any issues and haven't had any since. SS says they need a break-in period because they make them with much tighter tolerances than a Glock, I don't know if that's true but here we are.

I had a DR920 for about two months. I had issues with the trigger resetting whether it was the ss trigger assembly or an apex, they both would not reset reliably. I sent it back to shadow systems and they told me the slide was out of spec. They replaced the whole slide and it still had issues resetting the trigger. I went through the break in process again and the pistol had over a 1200 rounds on it and the trigger still would not reset reliably. I eneded up just selling it to get rid of the problem.

I have a Cr920p bronze barrel finish, and it has worked flawlessly the past 400 rounds of the "break-in" period. It is however 1 sample size to your 1 sample size. Same goes for that Taran Tactical Canik TTI everyone was raving about, when i had a buddy who bought it but had to send it in since it continuously jammed on him once a magazine regardless of the magazines used. Again, a sample size of 1 with glowing reviews all over youtube.

I believe the issues stem from poor manufacturing. My friend also has a faulty TTI. I created a video about this, which you can check out below if you're interested. These videos are hilarious. My CR929XP just hit 2,600 rounds. Not one malfunction of any kind. It ate five different brands, four different brains, and a mix of FMJ and JHP. It performed absolutely flawlessly. I will trust my life to it as I would any if my other tried a true firearms. Most of the time people have issues with comped pistols it’s because they dint listen or read how to grate it and what to feed it. Plain and simple.

I had 2, a full size 17 type, and 19 type. Neither were worth their cost. Sold them, thankfully didn’t lose money and never once regretted it. Shadow Systems is all hype. You can put into a Glock, M&P, Canik the same amount of money and have a drastically better gun.

I have the first cr920P. And after the first two mags has yet to have anotber hiccup on well over 1K rounds. Even with my softer handloads. Seems hit or miss.
I picked up a CR920XP last week. I shot 300 rounds through it, fully expecting problems in the first couple of magazines, but it actually ran flawless... not a single hiccup! I also have a MR920 that has been flawless. My original CR920 had some cycling problems early on with the 13 round magazine, but runs great now after more break-in. It now has 1,000 rounds through it and it runs great.

Smaller is not always better, I worked in a gun shop a while back and every woman that ever bought a pink or purple gun that was crazy sub compact usually brought it back a month later and complained about the recoil or snap in their wrist. I’m 5 foot 9 inches and 180 pounds I carry a Glock 22 concealed no problem. I’ve even carried an m17 the same way, both with a holster or even just tucked in my belt and inside of my pants. I’m not a fan of tiny pistols, Glock 19 is the smallest I’d ever go but that’s just me, and everyone’s different…
