Wow 😲 this certainly brings memories from the 90s 😊 I remember playing with real cards in the schoolyard on the water fountains in the summer time, they served as the gameboard 😁 and when we came home we watched the animated series haha 😆 I remember how Brock especially was portrayed as very stupid 😅(the fountains always malfunction in the summer somehow. I started out with Ponyta which was considered the most ineffective pokemon at the time and ended up later with three whole card folders, I even had Charizard in gold glinz 😊 oh man that was some good memories. The warm summer breeze on my skin and I had friends and we had gaming parties with sleepovers oh man I would give anything to go back it was bliss ! 😢😊

On stressful nights i would turn on your animal crossing playlists for my dog and it always calmed him down until he slept. He had cancer and was fighting for a long time. We had to euthanize him 2 days ago and played this video to lay him to rest. He was very happy and comfortable in his last moments and I'll remember him everytime I play this video ❤

november 9th 2024 - i remember playing the exact playlist for background noise a couple weeks back at play rehearsal. it was 11:27 am on a saturday, so none of us really wanted to be here, but we signed up for this. i was a part of the costume crew, and we settled down in the old dirty hallways that had yet to be renovated like the rest of the school. the lights were almost broken and it always felt a little cold, but we were always forced to be resourceful, whether we liked it or not. we all set out to get our jobs done, which for most of us involved sewing a cape for a senior graduating this year to wear as he performed the role of a king. fabric, patterns, needles, thread, scraps and various other sewing materials were scattered on the floor. i began to sew in a circle made of my peers, not too unfamiliar to that of a witch’s circle, timely for october. i place my phone not too far from the center and play this exact video to set the tone of the day. i began to disassociate in my mind and imagine i’m sewing within the depths of a vast forest. somewhere frozen in time in a forever autumn, leaves dancing in the wind, light peering through, the aura of the forest comforting me amidst my seamstress duties. someone asks what this song is from and breaks the illusion of fall i painted in my mind. i check my phone and the light blares out onto my face. “pokemon mystery dungeon: gates to infinity,” i respond before continuing to sew. i awaited the feeling i knew all too well of nerd mockery, but they told me it sounded nice. it felt like the hallway felt a little safe now. more relaxed, calmer, and it grounded me back to where i really was. i felt like i didn’t belong most of the time when put side by side with the rest of the people who were part of the theater trope at my school. but in this moment i think i can clearly say i will always feel at home listening to inflora forest. i hope you’re doing ok costume crew.
