Your garden is lovely my garden is a bit of a mess at the moment. I'm trying to grow lavender. I'll be planting Californian poppies I love the colours yellows white. 😊

It’s all beginning to break through in our garden too. I love this time of year, knowing spring is on its way. We’re sorting out what seeds we have for sowing soon, we share the sowing with our neighbours so it reduces the task. our passion flower is across the back wall interspersed with a white climbing rose and honey suckle.

Thank you. I have been very poorly for the last couple of years, videos like yours have helped to keep me in touch with others. The good news is that I have found out that I have an allergy to wheat, I also have a few intolerances to some foods but the wheat allergy is serious. I have stopped eating wheat and I will need to carry an EpiPen but I am definitely feeling much better. I wish you well with your channel but hopefully I will be out and about more and might not be watching so eagerly. Thank you Ben for your contribution to my recovery. Although I am 71 years old I still desperately need to get out and about and enjoy myself.

Hope you are ok now. High blood pressure is not good. Has your blood pressure got lower now. I bought a blood pressure monitor I really should try and work out how to use it. 😊

Glad you got it checked out. Shift work and a not so healthy diet are key factors with blood pressure. Family history can sometimes be considered too. There are many little things you can do to improve your health and general wellbeing without being overwhelmed by fady diets or crazy exercise routines. Hopefully your blood pressure will settle and you won't need medication long term. Take care of yourself Ben x

I lowered my blood pressure by stopping eating ultra processed foods. I cook from scratch and I eat natural fats only (mainly butter, ghee and beef fat) and no seed oils. I have eaten this way for nearly 7 years. I recently had to do blood pressure readings at home for 7 days following a high reading at doctors. I freaked out and I get white coat syndrome so blood pressure always reads higher at docs office due to stress, but it turns out she had measured my blood pressure with arm dangling down and my feet were not on the floor and my readings at home and when I returned to the doctors for a re-check were absolutely normal!

I am so glad you popped into Boots! It is a hidden killer, it can be from the family or maybe the stress of you last job. I had a health scare in 2023 I was advised to cut the caffeine and drink plenty of water, keeping hydrated is good for the heart, I now have Ringtons decaf tea and water during the day at work, I do enjoy a latte sachet at my desk first thing in the morning when I get to work. Thank you for sharing your story you will help others. To go to the GP 💕💕
