That happy dance he did....well at least it was funny😂 The thing is I don't want to make him unhappy, but he certainly seems driven to prove he is a better rider at the drag strip. He is much better than he use to be and I'm not as good as I was so maybe if we race enough he'll get the job done.

Yes I've been tripping all over bikes and associated hardware for awhile.

@@phillippugh2161 That kind of financing will adversely effect used bike sales if they use it across the model range. I think the discounting of the R18 will really hurt riders who have the bike and want to trade or sell their R18.

About the maximum number I can handle is six, but 12 sounds better 👍👍

Both are tremendous bikes....the split screen would take some getting use to but worth it.

I'm kinda of rusty and the last time I launched as four cylinder bike the drag strip I had hair . We are spending most of the time trying to prepare for the Bonneville salt flats. True....in 55 drag races all against motorcycles with more horsepower or a greater horsepower to weight advantage the record is 40 wins to 15 losses or 72.7% win rate. The best ET so far is 11.678 and the faster top speed run at Bonneville done in 2021 was 151 mph. A beauty with an underrated bite. You can see some of those drag races and the Bonneville runs on the channel.

My nephew maybe riding this bike this fall on a week long trip. There are some nice looking windscreens, windscreen/fairing combinations but how well would they work? I'd like to find something that works well and isn't a distraction that I feel necessary to immediately to remove it.

I posted the same exact videos as an experiment. Sure enough the new channel gets four times the views and about three times the subscribers. I've tried to get subscribers to switch to the Flat Cap Cafe Racer channel and about 1/4 did . That is a fair comment. I think I did another similar video after this one to be released later, but in the future I'll have the salesman move them and not foul those parking spots. I appreciate you pointing it out .

I'm not aware of any Carpenter decal, the big one on the tank is a number/ class decal. I saw the Carpenter engined Triumph streamliner at Bonneville a couple times with last being in 2016. I've ridden a couple modified older models with lots of horsepower. Of course I crashed one last year at Bonneville. I'll probably ride a couple 200 rwhp older models at the drag strip this year. The newer model 2021 I'm riding at Bonneville this year while probably only 165 rwhp may actually run faster than the 260 rwhp one I rode last year. The new ones are very much lighter, better handling and better shifting bikes than the older models which is expected. I know Triumph could easily make this a 200 rwhp out of the box if they wanted to, however no one currently makes a 240/50/16 rear tire that is rated above 149 mph.
