R6ii or the lumix s5iix? Would love to know your opinion. Also, loving you videos. New sub
@FulaanCreativeКүн бұрын
Thanks. Currently I have the S5II & the R8 which has the same sensor aw the R6II. For me it's the S5II over the R6II all day. Unless my main thing was photography and not video. In that case I'd go with the R6II
@JakeHolderКүн бұрын
@ ya that seems to be the consensus. I’ll be 70/30 photo/video probably but by no means a professionally photographer.
@RynaxAlienКүн бұрын
Canon still uses OUTDATED decades old front-lit CMOS sensors. A7sIII is superior but still has problems. By now industry should have been moving to new sensor technology such as SPAD or x1000 times more sensitive graphene sensors.

Hey great information🔥🔥, I’ve been searching for something like this. Do you think a single shotgun mic would work for a group of 6 to 8 people standing next to one another in a large white backdrop setting, using one camera? Or is it a no brainer to just go with these individual mics, and set up to 2 different cameras if it were 8 people?
@FulaanCreativeКүн бұрын
Thanks. I think 1 shotgun mic for that many people wouldn't be ideal. Saramonic makes a version of this that actually comes with 8 transmitters. Personally I'd do that over one shotgun mic

Canon and r100 take the same quality shots of an r50. Does the camera matter or is it the lense? I'm buying an entry level camera first for my daughters but I don't wanna cripple her by getting something too limited. Help please 🙏
@FulaanCreativeКүн бұрын
It's limited in that it doesn't have a flippy screen and the video isn't to the level of the r50 but in terms of individual photos it's great.

I am just getting started trying to make KZbin and TikTok videos. I am a welder and fabricator. So, this is the basis of my videos right now. I have been binge-watching your videos today and have learned so much! Currently, I have a Canon EOS Rebel t7i with 5 different lenses. If you are familiar with these, what would be your best advice to get the most out of what I have? It would be so cool if I could find someone willing to do a video on these old cameras. I am trying to figure out if need to keep it or try to save up and get something better.
@FulaanCreative2 күн бұрын
If you are happy with the results your getting then no need to upgrade anything. If having 4k is important for you, you could get an R50 and use your existing lenses with a simple adapter.
@MountainMadeFabShopКүн бұрын
@ thank you I will definitely keep trying to improve every day whit what I have as I save up to get something better. That R50 with the adapter looks like a good setup. Like you said it would be a huge savings not having to buy all new glass.

Great video! I got a R50 few months ago after watching another video you made on point and shot cameras and I'm loving it and now I would like to buy a flash to be used in the camera. For an amateur photographer focusing on family portraits, small events, kids skateboarding, and similar situations, what would your sequence of choices be for the R50? I was considering these two for their size and intermediate power: 470EX-AI, 430EX III (I have the AD-E1), or the Speedlite EL-5 (I found a used one at a good price, but it seemed large and heavy for the R50, although I won’t use it in all situations). Or do you suggest another option? Given the scenarios, I plan to make good use of TTL.

Hey Fulaan. I currently shoot for brands. Mostly personal branding, car delivery and car related shoots. Mostly video production. Past years working with my canon 200d m2 (india). it is doing good, but now i want to upgrade my gear. Can I go with fx30? I need log formats, 4k 60 shootings and a better battery than my 200d xd. i dont think spending L on full frame like fx3 or a7s3 is good. I can do lot with my basic capabilities gear which helps me. I shoot at iso 400-1000 in night times. fx30 has 800 and 2500 native iso which is more than enough. Also I want to know what more is fx30 capable of. My upcoming projects are documentary, more n more of personal brandings, and short films in the future. Thank you bro :)

The FX30 is great but persoanlly I'd grab the Lumix S5II. It's similar in cost but much better in mu opinion.

I remeber a very wise and pragmatic photographer commenting on sensor size. I cannot remember the exact wording, but the gist was that even the camera on your phone takes far better pictures than the worlds best camera left at home because it is too bulky to carry with you at all times. I suspect that we will eventually reach a point where the quality of the smaller sensors is more than good enough for most people to not to be able to tell the difference in the result in anything other than the closest inspection, much in the way that the gap between reel-to-reel and compact cassette narrowed over time. I appreciate how the differences in sensor size affects the picture taken with the same lens, however I would have thought it more appropriate to compare how they perform with an 'equivalent' lens - for example the Canon EF-S 11-22mm lens is equivalent to an 18-35mm lens on a full frame.

Great camera. I bought the sigma 18-35mm 1.8 lens with vilcrox speed booster. Why didn't you mention when going down to 18mm there would be a dark vignette around the corners? Felt like important info.
@FulaanCreative3 күн бұрын
The speed booster is meant for full frame lenses. The sigma 18-35 is aps-c so it needs the normal adapter. When recommending the speed booster I was referencing the nifty 50 f1.8. It was clarified in the video description but I agree it could have been articulated better.

Thank you for your video. Perhaps it will be not the best way to go on with Panasonic what I learned from your point of view

The GH5 II is good but I don't remember if it has the updated phase detect autofocus or not so keep that in mind.
@MusabTahaTarik2 күн бұрын
@ thank you so much. I suppose they implemented phase detect af only in their gh7 and s5II/IIx series. So gh5 iterations and 6 has only contrast AF. if i prefer panasonics then i’m sure i’ll miss R10’s blazing fast sticky AF.
