The hack for boho braids is to make some plaits twist and to leave more of the ends curly like the content maker did.

How are you able to braid downwards, my braids always come out upwards

I apply a gel or leave in conditioner when braiding in a downward motion. I also apply mousse at the end to lightly “weigh down” my hair so it doesn’t stick up. Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes

I’m not too sure. This is synthetic hair tho, I would suggest using Afro bulk human hair if you want to permanently loc your hair.
