ok but u wasted so much time sanding foam...and then u sealed it by taping loosing every single detail and shape: this is inefficient and stupid

How did you get the blocks to stick together so well? When I tried with the same spray adhesive it literally did nothing

A very unique piece sir ! Would like to be able to see more of the details of the build construction. Can you tell me how much modification work you have done to the base chassis before you did the faring installation ? And I must apologize sir, but I was not able to pick up what you said the horsepower would be after the water injection ? I did understand you to say that you thought you were getting a bit over 100hp. before water injection. I am a CX addict I have to admit ! Have a number of CX500's currently, and on the hunt for CX650's every day possible ! Even if only for the engine. Now then, the Turbo CX's are just that much more of a challenge to get my hands on unfortunately ! Again sir, A great project ! And very unique ! Have a wonderful day my friend !

Does the foam you're using strong enough for seating
@JAYHARRIS856 жыл бұрын
problem is,,, when you do all of that work, shaping, prepping BUILDING onto a frame ONLY,,, there are 100 other parts that are not there, and you have NO idea what you are building towards (taking into account) and how everything else is gunna "gel" with the saddle. I would do the seat last, or at least in conjunction with other components. But, no doubt, I learned something. Everything is something, unless its not, lol. Thanks for the work and vid bro!

Dude.... I've been trying to figure out how to make a custom seat for my sports bike but it also needs a perfect fit matching undertail. Do you think using the Styrofoam is best being i would have to wrap it slightly under the frame as well?

What kind of foam did you use to make the mold for the seat? Where did you source it from? I'm working on a project now to craft hard bags for a '99 Sportster XLH 883. We don't wan to spend 50% of the bikes value just to add hard bags, and looking at your video with the careful shaping of the foam was good. We'd like to go that way instead of buying so we can say built, not bought.

Great rider and a very gifted engineer. This gentleman won the Barcelona 24 Hours race against stiff factory opposition, with a very cunningly-crafted perfectly-tuned Triton. His own brilliant riding was no small part of the victory. He was a blinding "short circuit scratcher" on all manner of British bikes, and also Aermacchis which could win against the early Japanese two-strokes before they introduced water cooling.
