Not sure how your applying limiter that its doing that funky to your mixer but shouldn't work that way 0_o That's odd haha.. Deff need that full control over the mixer and each channel individually

what sample packs and plugins do you use?

I use a big mix of sample packs, but mainly different volumes of Vengeance Essential Sounds. VSTs are primarily Nexus and Sytrus! Check out my "How To Chillstep"-video, that goes over some of them well!

Not entirely sure what you are referring to, but this track was produced by me and me only :) The idea first came from my video "How To: Chillstep" that I made over 5 years ago and by popular demand people wanted me to release a full song of it. Edit: I remember giving X3LL permission to use my melody in his song a few years back!

So glad i found this tutorial :D I'm a huge Chillstep fan and your tutorial just showed me, that there is no reason not trying it out myself. Chillstep always seemed so huge and detailed... guess i was overwhelmed by these beautiful melodic walls of sound. But the way you broke it down, just boosted my confidence. Step by step, starting simple and sculpting out the details after the basics are done, should help me, not getting stuck time and time again. Tnx a lot my friend :) Peace
