Did they have singers on every floor of the hotel? if they *DID* I bet the director looked like an ant to those on the upper levels.

This is such a beautiful rendition but I think the other video of this got his mic in a better spot I guess about mid way up the hotel. Accoustics were better up there

I like the ending when you can hear someone singing “down in the river to pray” and is reappeared. That added a wonderful touch to an amazing end! 😊

This is really beautiful. I went to high school with Jace and was at BSU the same time as him. I remember him being very talented and I love hearing this arrangement with these lovely voices. What a great match!

Fascinating how this is further away than Ben's recording but a far more distinct one. Yes the opening soloists are a touch harder to hear due to their distance but the clarity of each section's arrangement is amazing. Acoustics are so interesting!

Dusty Rose Its a choir made up of high schoolers and im not sure if its the same in colorado, but in my state your school music teacher needs to be registered with the state's music educators association. if they are, you can register and have to audition to be accepted.

Hi, Colorado Highschooler who knows the process. So, your choir teacher/instructor has to be registered. My school requires you be a junior or senior, I don't know if that's a general rule. You talk to your choir person, and you set up a time to record the audition. You're given practice material a couple weeks before. Usually auditions are usually at the beginning/middle of October and you hear back by Thanksgiving.
