This brought up so many memories as I first watched it that I had to watch it over several times. What an epic love story these two have and I’ve read my share over the years. Jamie and Claire’s won’t ever be surpassed.

Franj was conniving, never felt any empathy. He had jack randall tendecies. If it wasnt for jamie he wouldnt have the chance to raise one. Then never tell her he was sterile...smh. Jamie didnt get to raise any child and always wanted too. Frank did.

I watch it over and over just to look at Claire. Her beauty is timeless.

It must have been aweful to return to Lallybroch to what become of it and knowing that everyone that you loved was long since gone. When she leaves it is a bitter sweet moment, hard to see her leave Breanna but so good to see her reunited with Jamie.

I am wondering if Faith was saved by Master Raymond and his blue light? I am reading book 9 and that poses a question to me after Clair was able to save a still born twin. Frances (aka Fanny) moms name is Faith?????

So glad for Jamie that he ended up in the arranged marriage with Claire instead of with Laoghaire. She was far too immature to complement Jamie. She might have been fun in the sack for a while, but her self-centered attitude would eventually have grated on Jamie. He would have looked for reasons to live apart from this eternally shallow teenager. The wise and mature Claire complemented him and shared more of his values.
