Do Not consider living on Ft Jackson! I lived there for 8 years and every year was worse than the year before. Military Housing is run by Balfour Beatty a private for profit company. They may report being pro-military but are only pro money. I suffered from mold, and water damage when it rained. On vacation my water heater broke, my neighbor reported it. They never notified me, left handmade carpets in the driveway, made me pay and replaced the defected part with another like it. They remove rather than repair. It's a nightmare. Save your dignity and mental wellbeing; do not use any military housing operated by Balfour Beatty!

I’m SO ready to move to the Columbia area. We’re counting down, and we plan to rent out our current home and purchase a new one. One piece of unsolicited feedback: the music is a little too loud for the video, so it can be hard to hear all this good info. at times. 😊 Thank you for sharing!

I LOVE that home. My family and I did a walk-thru over summer. We’re currently in KY but plan to move in 2026. We may end up building again, but I MUST have that home.🙂

We toured this home two months ago at Copper Crest in Lexington and I tell you it felt like a single family home. You wouldn’t even know someone live next to you. We love it!
