Thank you for this! I haven't been since I was a kid and I remember being so scared. I've wanted to try it again but I'm afraid of heights too. The kids all of course jumped on the bridge after being told not to - and I'm pretty sure that's where my fear of heights comes from haha.

James Bernard Moore (Benny) maried my grandmother in 1913. You have the history of the Moore family mixed up. William Moore was married to a Dutch woman (Hendrika). Their son James B. Moore (senior) married a Tlingit woman named Klinget-sai-yet. They had the three children you mention, and Benny, their son, married my grandmother in Southern California. If there are any members of the Gestner family around, i would like to talk to them about Benny.

We AWAYS take the trolley either out a far as it goes and get off an walk and shop coming back to port or walk out to to the end of town and ride back to the port.

Wow, we were on that same Journey Cruise out of Baltimore. It would have been nice to meet you. We love the 2 week journey cruises and will be on the Pride out of Baltimore on November 3rd, 2024. Again, had no idea we were on the same ship. We are sailing this Saturday on the Celebrity Equinox and doing the ABC Islands. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us, as always ------👍

Did you guys see Ft, McHenry? Just asking. A young lawyer,. Francis Scott Key was trying to free an American prisoner from a British warship during War of 1812. He was inspired by the American flag and the battle itself. "O say can you see by the dawn's early light. What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming. Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight. O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming? " The light show the weapons were putting on was an inspiration to him too. "And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air. Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave. I like this video. You two should go to top of Gateway Arch. Also, there is the courthouse where the Dred Scott case was held. Finally, the meeting of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers!
