I'm applying right now and the traveling that might cancel is putting me off from applying tbh. I'm from CA and they said the cost is around $85,500 depending on credits you need. I looked up other CA places and it's 100k+! Just sucks that traveling might get cancelled.

I don't like the 4 on 2 off schedule either because you only get a full weekend off (sat/sun) once every 6 weeks. I also don't understand why they haven't transitioned to 12-hour shifts, obviously the day shift would have to carry most of the burden, but overall, it would work better for everyone.

LTC just has such a negative , dark vibe. I love the patients but I can’t do the large med passes, unsupportive staff, large patient load and overall toxic environment. I am so excited to start ER nursing (level 3 trauma) also so many LTC nurses are so mean and miserable, I didn’t go through nursing school to be like that or work with ppl like that!

So all of the classes are online besides clinical?

Be careful with this College. It is a fraudulent College. They promess to the students that they will be eligible to take the NCLEX to get his/her license to practice nursing after graduation but, it is actually a lie. You won't be eligible for the nclex after graduation. Please, verify your state regulaments for the nclex first. I am now filling a lawsuit against Nightingale College for falses promisses and breach of contract. I am just trying to help people! I graduated in 2023 but now I am not eligible for the NCLEX.

I know this video was almost a year ago. I have been an LPN for a long time, it is getting worse and worse as time goes on. Literally too many residents to care for, your @ss is on the line every time you accept those keys. After years of abuse, I cannot even work PRN (if i pick up a shift through agency, im worried and anxious about it for over a week) I feel this has destroyed my mental well being. I have started a youtube channel, LOL then I found yours. Thank you for posting this. The truth needs to come out.

Are there any requirements to getting accepted other than the admissions test? I have an associates degree in psychology and the only nursing related pre-reqs I'd need are Chem, micro, and physiology. Thanks!

What hospital are you at?

Can you please share the injectors course update and your rn hospital experience. I really like your content. I have an orientation with nightingale on Monday ❤️! Also I’m in socal too so glad I found your KZbin!!

I would not bother with this school at all. I have extensive admissions representative experience. I interviewed toward the end of last year. The person that interviewed me waited till the end of the interview, easily more than an hour, to tell me that they were not hiring just yet. He started by saying, "I have to be transparent". He should have been transparent from the beginning. The interview went so well, that I gave it a pass and let it slide. He did indicate that once a spot came up, my resume would be at the top of the list. True to his word, about a month later I interviewed with a wonderful woman, and shortly after her two other great ladies. Everything felt wonderful. The best interviews I have ever had. After the interview with the two final ladies, I was offered the position not even two hours later. Then they did a background check, and immediately rescinded the offer. I had an offense from almost 15 YEARS AGO. Almost 15 YEARS!!! And that costed me the job. Again, keep in mind, stellar work history and very effective at the position I interviewed for. I say that to say this, if you are thinking of attending this school, the things they teach are all predicated on healing, right? Teaching people to become nurses, and individuals that will go into a profession that requires compassion, kindness, empathy, etc. The medical industry is all about second chances. People are ill and they are looking to get better. Yes, I did things in my past that I am not proud of. But I have redeemed myself. I paid my due to society and I have been great since and doing the things I should have always done. Along the way people gave me A SECOND CHANCE. And along the way I got better and better. Nightingale College is THE ONLY potential employer that passed judgement on me EVER. And all this after I had stellar interviews by people in the trenches that do the actual work. The people that DO NOTHING but are supposed to assist with completing a hire once an offer has been made, they are the ones that passed judgement on me. If they can do something like this to me, you can only imagine what judgement they will pass on you if you try qualifying for any of their programs.

How do they find your preceptor? I live in CA and wondering can you pick like Nevada so at least the drive isn't so bad precepting?

Thank you! I graduate my LVN program in April so Im looking for RN options. Im not sure if I should do this and just get my BSN or go get my ADN and then do ADN to BSN online? This really helped me see this is legit. I have two instructors using nightingale as well and someone who graduated LVN before me.

Wow; Our management is straight disrespectful, left, said we don’t do enough and called us med techs... my facility is coming to the point where we will have to provide our own supplies. The whole call bell system, ice machine, TVs, beds, phones etc need replacing. Yes facilities do blood transfusions, PDs, TPNs, wound vacs… everything. It doesn’t even need to be this unsafe.
