It's actually really lovely, not very accessible as it's mostly on hills and built on top of itself but it is definitely interesting. There are lots of little alleys with stairs between the levels but they're a bit of a killer on the legs lol

I went there this year for the first (and the last) time. Such a disappointment…so much good Scottish stuff missing! I’m still grieving the loss of the Edinburgh Yarn Festival, that was the real thing! But also Portsoy is much better …

I’ve pretty much caught up with most vlogmas episodes, I was talking to Ellie (craft house magic) and she said she’s only managed to watch a couple of day 1 episodes! I’ve surprised myself so far keeping up with my own Vlogmas videos (first time I’ve done it, as only started KZbin in September) 😄

The first year I did Vlogmas, I did sort of a weekly vlog as I knew I wouldn't be able to do every day individually around work (teaching) but I'm glad I've been able to do daily ones the past couple of years now 😊 I think I'm only really up-to-date with "this little wonderful life", "knits by AJ", "knit365" oh and I got caught up with "giddy knits" yesterday too. I'm working them one at a time now 😄

@ I work full time as I nurse, so I should have done the vlogs similar to how Martin does it (knit 365)! I’m also caught up with Ali (this little wonderful life), and giddy knits, craft house magic, knit365, franny do makes and yours! 😆 Off to London this weekend, so will be interesting to see if I can edit the videos in time!

@@Samrayner88 then that is a huge achievement and I take my hat off to you X I'm not currently working so daily is good for me at the moment. Weekly has worked well in the past though and I do still lump a couple of days together the same for Vlogtober but I enjoy trying to get something on camera each day and it's getting me to think out of the box, as well as a memory to look back on for our first Christmas in Scotland 😄

I kept a He-man book when we were packing up the flat, Ralph had given it to Joey when he was younger. I had it out the other day unpacking a bag and Ralph goes - ooh He-Man, I had one of these when I was growing up, to which I replied, "that's because it is yours!" haha

Thank you Samantha, she truly does live on in everything I create. I just remembered that I have a beach coverup on the back of my chair that she made many many years ago. I may show it off at some point in the future. With regards to Mosaic crochet tutorials for left handers, I believe that all of @rosinacrochets videos are available in both right and left handed so may be worth heading over to check them out x

Día de Los muertos is my favourite event this time of year but I've never been able to attend a parade or anything and has hoped to visit London for theirs last year but we settled for the display at Kew Gardens instead. Maybe in the future I'll be able to find something in Scotland too 😁
