Thanks for the video. Do you have the route you used mapped out. I am looking at doing it, but it seems to just be road riding and I want the off road aspect.

Hi thanks for the review! How is the bag holding up? I've seen some comments about the low quality and thin materials / weak stitches. Did you experience any issues?
@PepperJackAdventures Жыл бұрын
I love this bag. The reason I picked it up was because I didn’t want to bring my ultralight dyneema bag on bushwhacking trips. This has big stretchy pockets, heavy duty zipper and thick materials. I’ve had no issues with manufacturing defects such as seams or stitches coming loose or any tears in the materials due to scuffing and snagging on rocks and trees. It’s low profile and hugs my back nicely. I have beaten this thing up quite a bit, and have a couple hundred miles of off trail exploration with it. Works well for me!

Is there a way to contact you about the water source locations?
@PepperJackAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Mule Creek on the way up, Tate Creek when you get back down. I was unable to find the source on Panther Ridge. May be at Panther Camp? But, I did fine carrying 3L for day 2.

My main fear about stuffing is damage from other items in the pack, abrasion from the constant ins and outs, etc. I feel it's my protected from my carelessness if I have it in a stuff sack. Agree that it's not great for loft longevity.

Nice job! Assume the drive in was free of snow and in good condition? Thinking of doing this over Memorial Day weekend...
@PepperJackAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Yep. That should be a great time to go. Pack plenty of water for day two! I did fine with 3 liters but didn’t use any to cook. So, take that into consideration. Also, we took our time and only averaged 7 miles per day. It can be done quicker, but this gave us the time to soak in all the beautiful things, which I’d suggest. Also, hang your food! This is bear country!
