These rooms are beautiful. I see elements of Hawaii as I look at each room- they are small elements with a small impact. I love the wicker sofas, rattan sofas, and the pillows with palms on them. It also has a Bohemian feel in some of the rooms, as I see different elements in the decor. I expected lots of Tiki, lots of oversized palms, many patterned hibiscus prints and more Bohemian. I did not see any of that. Again, the rooms are very beautiful, mide-century and very modernish. I enjoyed your video.

Rocks are cheap it is the handling and transportation that is expensive.

I am doing honey oak cabinets and I am also doing the wood flooring with the same colors in it , I dont know what color of counter tops and backsplash to do . I like the look of stone backsplash but it would be hard to keep clean and I like the looks of lighter counter tops , med and darker ( so confused ) .... help please.

If you're going to copy the French in high design then balance rooms with traditional and modern elements. Place found antiques with modern paintings and unique art work. Soulful pieces with the new. If you have an old space then add some modern. A contemporary space can have some antiques and found objects too. The reproduced rooms looked too new and cookie cutter. Nothing very original at all. No antiques. No original art. Doesn't have to be all high end either. Start at you local flea market and go from there.

Thanks. Still not sure what's a good wall colour to go with honey oak kitchen cabinets and honey oak floors. So far the one at 0:38 seems the best. I think a white counter is better.
