At 170000 on my VFSSV no mods….no problems up to now with front wheel bearings and control arm bushes…front end suspension is weak….so she in for a coil over and replacement parts….it’s been a fantastic car…..serviced regularly…..sweet!!

hey man my vf has gone spastic all cuz i had a flat battery missing last and donk light is on vibration at 2000 rpm every error code all on esp crazy and the car suddenly revved out to 5000

Red coolant is a myth.... as a mechanic myself and talking to reps and old school mechanics who have been in the trade from well before there was coloured cool sure you shouldn't mix green with red but green coolant is the most common don't buy into manufactures BS red coolant actually courses more issues with seals and O rings then green.

Definitely do your suspension, xyz makes a good affordable coilover run them soft on the road and hard on the track or if you’re going on a spirited drive. But if the budget allows go with MCA pro comfort or shockworks

Bad gear shift is tolerable, poor suspension may cause an accident. Do your shocks first.

@@CurtisLSAwill do. I’m not very clued up on everything. But can definitely trade information on parts etc and what “stock” should look like at mine is basically stock minus xforce exhaust and OTR. BTW mine has slotted and ventilated front discs and slotted rear. Unsure if that’s aftermarket (looking at urs) or model year upgrade etc (in the rear particularly)

@@CurtisLSA yeh, I tried to keep the Aussie theme alive but it would've been nice to have seen that Black GM Holden/Corvette Ute prototype they used for testing come to fruition.!! Just imagine it with a little Aussie input here and there, I reckon it would've sold out especially with an LSA option and a Corvette or Camaro front end.!! 🤔

its on 98 currently but has the sensor for e85 its just not tuned for it yet . About 300-350kms per tank but its not something you would be using as a daily
