Regardless to what the rent is on this apartment it is different for everyone in the building - you would be best looking at dubai real estate websites.

I do! 🙈 They last longer! you can get flowers in Dubai but I find they only last a few days

@@tahiraahmed3751they always make it perfectly fine in hand luggage :) I just put a wet kitchen tissue around the bottom of the stems in a food bag. Once I’m on the plane I take them from my luggage and put them infront of me still in the food bag. We can bring in flowers just nothing with soil.

@@miss_jettlag that's great. I love fresh flowers. I share a tried and tested tip here. If you dissolve a tbs of white vinegar with 3 tbs sugar in about a litre water in a vase, your flowers stay fresh much longer and vase remains so clean without any slimey or smelly residue. 😊

Hi, did you visit the country or simply stayed at the hotel the whole time? I was at the Beachcomber in le Morne to go dolphin & whale spotting. Very nice too.

A ridiculous amount! All rentals in Dubai at the minute are crazy. Mines on a year by year contract (been here 5 years) you will pay a different amount depending on your contract. For example someone on an older contract will have a better deal than someone new moving in. Size, view, other rental prices etc also factor into it. The front view facing burj khalifa is even more eye watering.

You will have the most amazing time :) - if youre into hiking, look at le morne Mountain. The View from the top is incredible. I did it on a previous trip - this time I didn’t leave lux hotel

To be honest we didn’t leave the resort as everything was included, but you can hire a car or driver to go places :)

The resort is so impressive, so clean, so modern and yet trendy. The gardens, the pools, the 2 gyms, a spectacular beach crystal clear and warm water with white sand. All of the meals looked excellent and probably not as expensive as a resort in the caribbean would cost. Did you make all of your vacation package with Air Mauritius travel desk? Is Dubai your home? or you have a flight from there to Australia? thank you for the great in depth details of a terrific getaway to a gem of an island in the Indian Ocean and that is Mauritius.

I live in dubai and took the direct emirates flight to Mauritius (about 6hours ish) :) I booked the hotel with the hotel directly and the flights separately. It’s a beautiful hotel - the one in Maldives is fabulous too

Hi , love watching ur posts. We are visiting Dubai in September and wondering about dress codes ?? Mainly want to know what I should be wearing in terms of modesty rules and regulations. We are staying on the Palm and have been told I have to cover up to go into certain places . Any advice would be greatly appreciated. X

Thankyou so much :) Dress codes are relaxed everywhere nowdays. Just be respectful eg don’t walk down the street in your swimwear - swimwear at the beach is fine. The malls are very well air conned so it’s quite chilly inside. But honestly don’t worry, just pack as though you would for any holiday :) you will have a lovely time, September will still be very hot here

Lux Grand Baie has 3 restaurants Ai KISU, Beach Rouge and Bisou. We booked the Premium All inclusive package which included champagne. The all inclusive doesn’t include champagne but it covers most other drinks. I personally would go minimum on the all inclusive as drinks and food on resort is expensive. The hotel is beautiful :)

Sorry trying to figure out the same for a trip later this year! It looks like you didn’t leave the resort for dinner. Would you recommend the all inclusive? (We wouldn’t add champagne) or would you recommended booking regular and paying a la carte?

@@jessicaalbert5822 we personally really enjoyed the all inclusive option the food was great, even the pickiest of eaters would find something :) The drinks were a bit hit and miss, personally at this resort i wouldn’t include the champagne option at lux grand baie again, however I would go all inclusive :) happy holidays

I live in dubai, June ,July and august are difficult with the heat and humidity. The sea is like a bath! However the beach clubs are still open! But parties like this are generally seasonal. places still do brunch Parties throughout summer months just outdoor things are limited as it’s far too hot :)

Yes you can buy day passes if they have events on for the main pool :) and for beach by five you can buy passes too :)
