That's a bidet next to the toilet. It's for washing your intimate parts.(mainly for washing away the poop from your bottom) It's so you don't have to take an entire shower to wash yourself after going to the potty. You just sit on it and wash yourself down there with soap and water. Then you use a paper towel to dry everything.

The Coliseum is definitely one of the signature places to visit in Rome, Italy, lots of gladiators fought there.
