Yue opera as a pop music adaptation? That would be innovative! Would surpass the innovation of New Dragon Inn. Has it only been a couple months since I came across that online sensation. It opened the world of Chinese opera styles. Tho yue opera has become a personal favourite of mine, Kunqu (which I'm slowly getting to know) is a close 2nd.

Females usually look younger with short hair. Their faces tend to be not as hard as males. So, with smoother complexion, they will look like teenage lads or young men. Lijun will have to wait til she is well past mid age to look more like a mature male adult. If her voice remains in good shape, Lijun could continue acting as a young male for a long time.
I think it may not be a good idea as some of them approximately 60- 70 fans did and there were some really screamed at the top of their voices. Just this morning, the management of the Xiao Bao Hua is discouraging such behavior and will consider stopping the fans to behave like this and also may stop the SD ( waiting for actors at the the theater back door) after the show .

The whole opera troupe should wear big yellow wigs in their next opera production 😅

Like this song. It seems to suit almost every kind of clips of Lijun, Xiao & their co-workers. What's it called & where was it sung? cos it doesn't sound like an opera song....maybe a show?
