I'm somewhere in the crowd here. Michigan Fest was wild, there were quite a few naked people dancing, firecrackers were being thrown around inside the venue as well. The absolute highlight was a guy trying to ride a bike in the mosh pit during this set. Never saw anything like it before, or since.

Wow. I never knew there was video of this show. I moved to Atlanta June of 96 and bought Petitioning the Empty Sky on CD at this show. Converge was touring in a short bus then.

What you can't see off camera, a random dude was in the audience that was probably just there for a drink, and he had a glorious mullet. Everyone looking back, they're looking at that guy being a god among men for a brief moment, his beer raised in triumph.
