Yes and no! It does a little because we are pulling hair from the face but not as much as regular threading because the thread is thicker.

Yeah, its absolutely useless in water. Curcumin only metabolizes in fluids that are fat based. Like whole milk. Thats why in Ayurveda hot milk and turmeric is a thing.

I believe there is a tendency for the oil to solidify and clump up in your sink, therefore disposing the oil into a trash bin after oil pulling is advised :)

Use amla eat at least two a day, also make sure you are good on vitamins, zinc especially(use it for a month and discontinue, if you are low on zinc). Use amla and rosemary oil at least twice a week. Best of luck!
