JESUS....look what these manufactures have done to cars......STUNNING compared to cars 50 years ago. JUST LOOK at how far they have gone to KEEP YOU from fixing a car YOU bought FROM THEM to keep THEM in business. Also ... do you know what could be if AC only starts to output cold air if I rev it past 2000 RPM ? Below that it comes warm. And on fresh start, if car was in underground cold parking, it starts cold air right away. But when car sat in the hot sun and I start it, it outputs hot air for a long time until I rev it past 2000 rpm, then it starts outputing cold air. [2009 Audi A3 8P]

That could be a compressor problem but get a professional check it first

@@KirksCoolAirAutoTV I had someone check it now, he said that it is the compressor. Also, filled completely he said the compressor would not start at all, but with a bit less freon, it starts a bit, mostly under higher revs. I will replace the compressor today.

I'm trying to perform the same job with removing the expansion valve cover. I'm guessing that got cracked because somebody wasn't able to remove it easily even after removing the screws and too much pressure resulted in it cracking. I am dealing with this issue now. It will not come out!!! Why not!

I appreciate what you have shown, but you missed several critical steps , like cleaning your hoses and evaporator, and vaccuming toyr system before you charge it, for people who have not done AC repair.
