Looks like Elmer Trett's "Freight Train". Frankie Spittle of Charlotte owned it for awhile. OR since these guys are from Kansas, maybe it's Bonnie Truett's old fueler. Saw it spit the front cylinder and head about 20 feet in the air during the late 1980's while I was pitted just a few feet away.

He is old the bike is old. It missed 2nd gear and blew threw the clutch. He was having fun and that’s what makes the sport unique. I don’t want a pickle……

this is a mean bike, my grand father built a twin triumph drag bike in new zealand back in the 70s he also supercharged it. it was named daves weapon, i was not born at the time but im luckily enough to have photos and a magazine write up about the bike. awesome work guys, kenny from nz

Great Video! My father was one of the few men to build a twin engine triumph drag bike with Mike Tucker similar to this one in 1966-1967. He raced it at Lions Dragstrip and sold the bike in 1968. We found the exact bike in Fresno Area California several years ago. They are a rare breed of motorcycle only few know about. Would give my left nut to own that motorcycle he built in 66' now that he has passed and gone
