Drizzt is actually the protagonist of a famous book series! He comes from the "Icewind Dale" trilogy by R.A Salvatore, and became one of the most popular DnD thanks to it. drizzt is technically not a game character in the sense is didn't start as a PC in a real campaign. Yet he is one of the biggest NPCs in the DnD tabletop game, and appears in over 25 novels that were written in the forgotten Reals setting.

If you took real life biology into account (her size and the fact that she has the ability to roar )namely along with her being a member of the pantara genus of big cats would make her a melanited tiger as she is far too big to be either a leopard or jaguar as the largest jaguars are half her size and leopards are even smaller

Everyone is going to have their favorite version. While I wish there was more alignment to the characters of the previous version, I really think Savage World succeeded in areas that WOTC failed; in terms of streamlining the TTRPG and making it more accessible to new players. Also, now your Deadlands characters are compatible with other Savage products, if that's your thing.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Those are now edges. Your edges give you any special powers like ARCANE BACKGROUND (HUCKSTER), or QUICK DRAW. These start on pg 17.

The latest edition. The cover has an undead cowboy riding a horse and the Savage Worlds Adventure Edition logo. If your cover has the orange and yellow border then it is probably Deadlands Classic, if it has what looks like wooden slats then you may have the 20th Anniversary Edition or Reloaded.

The new Deadlands specific skills are on page 14 of the Deadlands core book "Core Skills: Athletics, Common Knowledge, Notice, Persuasion, and Stealth are “innate” abilities most adult adventurers have. Your character starts with a d4 in each of these five core skills. Buying Skills: Next, you have 12 points to buy skills. Most standard skills in the Savage Worlds rulebook are available in Deadlands: The Weird West." Other skills will be found in the Savage Worlds rule book.

Baldur’s Gate made me want to learn everything about Dungeons and Dragons even though I’ve never played. Always wanted to though, but most people I meet who have played are too far into campaigns or don’t they want to be the DM anymore. What I’ve gathered is you have to learn a lot to DM otherwise I’d have done it by now

Well, as a DM and long time player... I cannot let this stand without giving some options. Because everyone should feel welcome. For first time players, if you want to play in person there are some really good resources. I recommend checking out the Adventurers League. dnd.wizards.com/adventurers-league You can find a store close to you that is hosting and show up and explain that you want to play. Also you can go to just about any gaming store and mention that you've never played DND but want to. BG(1-3) is a REALLY solid gateway into D&D. 1 and 2 are 2nd ADND (we don't talk about THAC0), and 3 is 5th. Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2 are 3/3.5. I also recommend dndbeyond.com to look at building characters, reading the basic rules, etc etc. A lot of my lore videos contain information gathered from dndbeyond. Finally (shameless self plug here) there is a Lore Playlist here on KZbin and you can find me on the "clock app" for more lore short. Just follow the link tree. In the clock app, if you look at who I follow there are some other GREAT ttrpg and DND content creators. Good luck, happy adventuring; keep your wits sharp and your daggers sharper.

you can also find a bunch of them on dndbeyond under "homebrew". Most of them seem pretty balanced. Sorry that your DMs wont allow them. :(
