I glued it. 😊 Sewing would be a better way to attach it. However, most of the time I don’t have the cover design until I’ve covered the book cover with fabric. I appreciate you visiting my channel and the question. 🌻

Loved this book but there is a picture of Jane Austin in it at 7.42 which doesn’t quite fit the theme .

As I watch this, I realize that the items we print today will not last . Think of the receipts we have now. They dont even last a year. They fade. Our own lives on paper unless carefully preserved, will fade into obscurity like we never lived.

Cheryl, just wanted to stop by and say thank you ! I just got 8 of those old magazines from 1897 to 1900's from a yard sale this weekend and was looking on how to use these beautiful women so I don't take away from them and you have given me some great ideas. Your journal is just beautiful

I love your junk journal! It has inspired me to make one of my own. My favourite fashions are from 1890s to the 1900s, so I've focused on collecting ephemera from those times. How many pages do you have in each signature? Just wondering how big I can make my journal. You've done a wonderful job on your 1880s Women's Fashion Junk Journal, Cheryl! Cheers! ~Janet in Canada

@@Cheryl-CarpenterOh Cheryl, so sorry to hear that you've 'been better', which implies you've been unwell, but so glad to hear that you hope to post soon! Unfortunately, I have also 'been better' and, following a serious illness, I have to learn to walk again. I am hoping, however, that soon I'll at least be able to get downstairs and walk out of our garden door to my new art studio in our backgarden. It has stood there for almost a year, but the nearest I've been to it is disconsolately looking at it from our bathroom window. Still, it's a great motivator! I hope we will both get well again together. Lots of hugs. Kindest Regards, Diane.
