It’s been three weeks since my final chemotherapy appointment and I’m on the road to recovery after my diagnosis with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I’ve been struggling with my hair growth coming back and how I look during this time, the uncertainty of the time frame that it might take to grow back. I look in the mirror at all my little hairs fighting to grow, curious what it will look like during the coming future, so thank you for this video!!! This is awe inspiring and so thankful. I tried to get a referral for an obgyn for years and when my primary finally agreed to refer me I was diagnosed with this and I’m beyond devastated. Not only cheating, but it is not even helpful! For one, you are now reducing 17 successful hits (5+4+3+3+2) to just 5 for your opponent. Second, it's dumb strategy. You benefit from scattering your ships. In a 10×10 search grid, you now have a single 5 point footprint. A good opponent only needs a maximum of 19 shots to cover every possibility (2 zones for every row or column up to the last 5 point zone by deduction) followed by 4 or 5 shots to sink them all. They just shoot on the fifth row of every column (or vice versa) to determine if it is the top/bottom (or left/right) of each line. Only needing 24 shots out of 100 possibilities for your opponent to win is the absolute worst strategy. This would only be an advantage against an idiot opponent with a random search strategy.

Thank you for posting. How long did it take you to grow your hair back after chemo? My chemo was done in December and the cancer is gone. Thank goodness I had non-Hodgkin’s also and and it’s almost been a year since my hair started to grow back is that usually how long it takes is a year for it to really start growing back?

Lymphoma survivor here and OMG YES no one talked about this!!! The same thing happened to me. I gained 20 pounds over the course of treatment- started at 130 ended at 150. 6 months EOT and my weight hasn’t budged despite being SUPER healthy and very active. It’s so discouraging but I just keep telling myself to give it time. Those long term high dose steroids are no joke!!! Ugh! Ty for sharing though!
