Hi! Where did you get the foam pumpkins? I'd love to get one myself :)
@matte_finnish24 күн бұрын
They were from Michael's craft store! I got them on one of their Sunday sales

Nice job. Like the black paint giving it that burnt snoot effect. Here is something you can try for another one. Paint the inside with a gold or copper metallic paint and hot glue a small led strip to the inside or a tea light. Another thought to try is place a small diffuser inside that simulates a flame. My foam cutter didn't work as well either but the blade tip on my woodburner did do good. It is basically a heated xacto knife. Could give that a try.

I really like that idea to paint the inside with a copper metallic paint!

The foam knife cutter was definitely something I did, too. Wouldn't have known to do it without the SKS Props video.

I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder, and good luck with preparations for your medical entrance exam! Recovery from any injury takes a lot of time, so it can be challenging when big life events are happening. With my shoulder, I had been having issues with it for a little over a year. I was doing a swim workout when I tore it. It was in a lot of pain for a weeks weeks after, but it eventually subsided enough to be bearable. But any time I tried to swim again or do any weightlifting the pain came back. About a year after the injury I had and MRI which showed the tear, and then had the surgery shortly after that. I hope that helps and I hope you feel better soon!

This was a nice video. Not like the other three. You have a date, or is it a boyfriend. Cute. He wasn’t in the last three videos. That town, is very quaint. Perfect place for a peaceful weekend. For me, a quiet week. I need more than two days.

Hi Finn so sorry to hear about your results but I think everything you’ve learned over time are things that will still be beneficial and help you on the next try. What I’ve heard from many people & finally applied for myself is the day before exam should not be treated as review day because the mind fully needs to rest & replenish and cramming tends to do more harm than good by then you can only learn so much anyways, but a skim through for a short run isn’t bad but at best all material should be put away and you are prepped for the next day (so I guess just your calculator snacks now with the new cbt format). Similar to running a marathon recouping energy before the real run is key to not prolong burnout. So another hike day , visualization exercises, some light physical exercise , positive self talk, making sure to get PLENTY sleep maybe even more than your usual could also help to rejuvenate. I was surprised how much I personally had to have a holistic approach physical and mental healthwise in preparing beyond just studying the material, I have never been one of those people that could study for just 2 weeks and pass on the first try like many of my peers and also dealing with testing anxiety. Did you ever retake it after the first try? If not all the best on your next try !! Hope you continue to share more PE content along your journey!

That was me, too, seeing you so disappointed with yourself. But the show must go on, right? It's much easier to swallow failure now that my 3rd round is up ahead. 3rd attempt, 20th attempt. Who cares - the darn exam was made for humans and is passible - its only a matter of time. Don't worry. You will pass. Keep pushing yourself to succeed!

I used sope for my 1st try. For 2nd try used eet. Both in wre. Prefer eet as sope is too light and all over that place. Eet is very focused. For my 3rd attempt I'll retake eet for PM and for am will self-study with sope materials from prior attempts. Also....doing something different....doing LOTS of problems from all over the place.

Awww I think sometimes we are too hard on ourselves. Most people don’t pass the PE on the first try, most people pass it on the third try. This will be my third time, we’ll see how it goes.

Sorry to hear about your experience...I took the FE 3 times and failed it with 3 69's awhile back when they used to tell you the score. I also took the structural PE in PR twice, so I understand exactly how you felt. I am going to take the FE again, in October and I am preparing different this time, with more focus on the concepts and taking more practice exams. I think that the tests get more difficult when you failed them and it seems that they pick more of your weak areas the second time around at least it felt that way to me.
