I'm sorry Bill I love ya to death. Want you to coach forever. But please don't compare the leadership from that '08 team to this yrs team!! That '08 team had dawgs down low. We got flory. A freshman. He's our only dawg down low. Hunter is a cat. Comparatively speaking to Darnell Jackson, Darrell Arthur and Sasha Kaun! Love them guys! They played with their nuts hanging out!

As an alum, I was so proud of the crowd. Watched the replay. That crowd tried to bring energy from the start, which a lot of places couldn't manufacture on a weeknight game against a so-so opponent; and coming off a loss like Saturday's. Allen Fieldhouse is clearly the best sports venue in America!

True but Flory is prone to picking up fouls. I still think KJ and Harris are the best on ball defenders. However, with the injury to KJ, I want to see Flory play more, especially with KJ together.

Self needs to wake up on kj. Flory is a better athlete, rebounder and rim protector. Having 2 bigs like Hunter and Flory is better than Hunter and Kj. You can’t keep Flory on the bench. Play him. I like Kj but he’s not as good as Flory.

Kj was the only one who had any chance at guarding Hall.. love flory and he’s gon be great, but KJ is a good player and a good athlete.. he also had 12pts, 5rebs, and was 6-7 from FT line, KJ played good considering he’s not close to 100%

I thought last year was frustrating, this year is going to go down as one of the most disappointing seasons in the self era. You have talent and depth and will be an early exit in both tournaments. Self is coaching to his philosophy instead of the talent he has which is stubbornness. Trying to stay big aint it. Hunter should not play the majority of the 40 mins w/ another big, our 4s ain't floor spacers and the spacing is already limited w/ Dejuan out there. This one will have a lasting affect, mark my words.

BILL SELF is a living legend. No other coach that I admire and respect more besides my own teams. I used to hate Kansas now I generally root for them when they aren't playing the CYCLONES. I was really hoping that the Cyclones would FINALLY get a W @ the fog this year.. but with two home losses this year already...I know that's probably not gonna happen.

Don't bet on that. I think ISU will be favored at AFH. This is a 2 pony race now between Houston and ISU. Self needs to continue throwing Bidunga in starting 5 over KJ and working with AJ. Self needs to experiment with lineups and building chemistry for a possible tournament run. I know this team has the talent to make a run but they must believe like the team that beat them Saturday night. The 2008 and 2022 team had bad losses but they believed they could overcome anything

coogs fan here. UH hit big 3s and made FTs when the game was on the line, and of course forced a lot of turnovers including the late inbounds pass. but the biggest factor to me was Bidunga fouling out early in 2OT. he was killing it and not having him in the second OT made all the difference.

This is the worst collapse in late game execution I've ever seen from KU. This game was over, yet we literally made every single wrong move and Houston was damn near perfect. Congrats to Houston for a GREAT win. They were at their best when it counted most. The better team won tonight. Free throws aren't free. You have to earn them. Houston's worst foul shooter hit his and KU's best missed theirs. Not a pretty game, but getting 2OT is a bonus. It's past time to get our heads in the game.

@@HoustonCougarsGermany Yeah this one hurt. But your guys comeback was a textbook example of how to handle adversity and extend the game.
