I avoided flying one for a long time because of how weird the controls feel, but it's actually pretty easy once you get used to it.

Haha another great video! I love love love that you relate specific poi's to movies. I am curious how you know your frame rates. Is it your screen recording program or just guessing? I wish I didn't get lag on a high zombie count but know nothing about computers 😅 I've been playing solo for off and on but lately have been playing solo for 3 weeks. My floridian 😬🤭 friend should have a new working pc by the beginning of this upcoming week and I'm stoked because I'm going to make the game play harder so it feels more realistic and then we'll have a 2nd game where he can just build and and design to his hearts content. I don't know how but in all my game time I've never used a poi as a base or home so I'm so excited for my next playthrough. You make it look so rad and so fun and I got the idea from your evil dead cabin horde night base 🤗 Edit: Woah you had 2 zombies glitch through the floor at the end!! See I told you it happens 🤣

The Steam frame counter is on all the time at the top left of my screen, but it doesn't get recorded. But if you press F8 it'll show the in-game frame counter that will get recorded. If you look at the middle left of the screen when I start talking about my frames, you'll see that I turned it on. And zombies have been glitching through the floors for as long as I've been playing. What's worse is when they glitch into the walls of a big POI during a quest and you to have figure out where they're stuck.

My timing on that has always been hit and miss. I've removed it from my Stream Deck to add 5 Al Pacino lines. I should bring it back though.

The noise is a bug related to turrets hitting blocks. TFP fixed in the 1.1 b4 exp build "Auto turrets are pinging like bedrock/trader protection when hitting dirt"

Oh man, I wondered what was up with the constant dinging on just one of my turrets so THANK YOU for mentioning there is a bug. I have one on my roof for those winged dicks and just assumed it was because it was pointed forward and was somehow the bullets were making it all the way to the trader 🤷♀️ I even wrote on the wooden sign under the switch for the roof gun "Roof Shotty, It Dings :/" and just thought it was the placement.

OK! Thanks. I thought it was because they were shooting each other. I don't know why, but I'm afraid to update to 1.1 EXP. Maybe it was because the game kept crashing, but since I updated my bios with the new Intel micro-code I haven't had a crash since. Maybe now I'll give 1.1 a spin.

that annoying noise was added in 1.0 for no reason whatsoever. The noise is just telling you that your turrets are hitting blocks... why they added that without a way to disable it? i dunno. But there is a mod to remove it.

Hahaha no, I suck at this game and the past 2 game plays I first legit died eating clean water and 2 sham sandwiches AFTER I took a vitamin for the sammie. Then I died because I got stuck in a nursing home infested quest. Last time I died, I died in my base and NO walls were broken so no clue what even happened 🤷♀️ Though I did have 3 zombies glitch through solid steel walls somehow with again zero blocks broken. This new version seems to have a glitch bug. I suck bad but I still swear there is a glitch 😅

There is a mod of the Spencer Mansion from Resident Evil 1. If you're on PC then you can add it to your game. 7daystodiemods.com/the-spencer-mansion-incident-resident-evil/ It's also a standalone type of playthrough. The UI and objectives are like Resident Evil. And there is the Raccoon City Police Department mod from RE2. I made a couple of videos about it. It's a regular POI so it loads into any random world. No. Only the Evil Dead cabin and the Bates Motel spawn on Navezgane. All the rest will only spawn on pre-gen or random gen maps. At the end of the video I show how you can find them on PC. Unfortunately I can't find any way to get into debug mode on console so you would either have to stumble upon it while you're playing or start a map in creative mode and fly around until you find it. It will only spawn in big cities.

Thats some A class horde control. They even seemed to get confused when you dropped the door before they got there and still ran into the dropper which could be something to investigate. Great video as always my man!

Thank you. It also seems that they'll try to jump across the opening sometimes. The Male Cadaver zombie did that once, right before I closed the door. I don't think their behavior is 100% predictable in all situations, and it also seems that when there are more zombies around, they'll start defying their expected behavior more.

I would say the distance for Fates house is that they didn't want the poi to spawn a lot of open area. Most of the poi's in the game are condensed with little open area between sections above ground. Or possibly with the lake it was taking up a lot of space as it was.

At first I didn't think the lake was the problem, but now that I'm looking at the map, the house would be too close to the lake if they set it back. The lake would have to be made half the size (lengthwise) for it to work.
