Nice test, he did look a tad over bent at tumes, which gave the impression he was leaning on your hands/on the forehand. Lovely rosette, think I'll take up dressage!!

You did a Great job, I admire you keeping going and keeping fit, still being competitive when many would take it slow. Harsh judge, you both looked fab. Well done you..
@sarahcooper33785 сағат бұрын
From the comments you read out and the score, there was no real corrolation! I think your right! There are judges who don't like certain horse types and mark accordingly. You are looking very well, as is Donny. There should be extra marks given for pregnant riders 😅. Take care.

@janbowerman941712 күн бұрын
It would have been good if you had covered what the pony wears too. Surely you wouldn't show a pony in a grackle noseband? Should an in hand bridle be used? Or is a smart showing riding bridle acceptable? Thank you😊
@misscooper-showponies122012 күн бұрын
Hi I have a separate video on showtack :) you would use a cavesson bridle either snaffle or double for most horses, inhand bridles are okay for some m and m breeds and white halters for Welsh mares. I go into lots of depth about this in my other video. 😄

What a great vlog, really helpful, do you have any recommendations for thin manes? Thanks for sharing.
@misscooper-showponies122014 күн бұрын
For a thin mane I would use megatek mane rebuilder and probably a snuggly hood rather than a neck rug as it’s more breathable. If stabled at night I would keep the neck rug off and avoid brushing it regularly x

Really enjoyed the vlog and he looks beautiful. Funny, don't laugh but with bathing it reminds me of properly washing cars. It's not just soapy water & a hose. Need to do my vehicles after the snow but it's too icy. Tip with bathing dogs is to do it way in advance as after washing they blow coat.
