Again, I LOVE this channel. You perspective is needed from the group-think amongst reaction review channels: Scotty AND Aria need therapy. IMO, they need individual therapy FIRST before ANY other relationship. Scotty was easily seen as problematic but Aria weak receipts on Caleb showed how she has issues trusting men and if you seemingly violate her trust then she will come for you. Scotty's behavior I attribute to him trying to control Aria. Not in a malicious way but in a "I will act good so that you will do/be what I need from you". I think it comes from him not healing from his perceived role in his father's passing. No matter what, I think they have done so much damage to their relationship that I don't think therapy will even work for them as a couple. Best they walk away and stay away (they no longer empathize with each other). Zaina, don't let a man tell you more than once that he doesn't want you (Even tho I think the relationship was fake) Sandy is the worst. Notice how she rejects Nick (and JR in some scenes) but pulls them back in almost immediately with words of affirmation. I think Sandy stays with problematic men to say she can fix them because it gives her some validation. Almost like she is comfortable in the chaos so much that she is willing to cause it to keep something to fix (which makes her feel important). Vanessa should have left and had every right to leave but the way she told her perspective came off disingenuous and unnecessary. Dave is fake and I don't trust him. Caleb didn't want Aria but they did get along. What Caleb did was the bare minimum for a healthy emotional man and Aria mistook the connection for a romantic one. Aria needs to pick better and heal and she will be ok. Again, Your channel is phenomenal. Keep it up

Especially when he's crashing out. Nick is a professional victim. Don't fall for that mess. Nick seems like he's capable of driving off a cliff with both of them in a car. Caleb liked Aria. He just very aware that Mariah would be watching all this footage back.

I liked your perspective on Caleb and Aria. Emotional can be friendship. I do think Aria resented Caleb and Mariah's relationship and wanted them to break up and she swoop in. I also Mariah was gaslighted by Aria at the show.

Wow I agree with you on all of the couples, that means you’re very smart. ..lol ! Good review! I especially agree about Aria…. But I will say the part about Nick and his addiction plus his bad behavior is a big NO for a woman to be living in an apartment with a strange man who is on drugs --hell to the NO NO NO. The show has to do better to vet people and do better than that because people can end up getting raped and killed and then everybody would’ve been saying oh no she shouldn’t of stayed. I know in previous seasons of the ultimatum all of the trial couples got to meet up before the proposals, but I wonder if they didn’t include them this time b/c there wasn’t much “juice” in the other trial couples…or if Zaira didn’t want to meet up w/ Scotty b/c he was such a jerk in their last days. Also on another channel they talked about Caleb & how an emotional connection isn’t the same as a romantic connection & I agree with that distinction.

Zaina said(on a podcast) she met JR in Bible study. Their relationship had started to going down hill when Jr left corporate for personal training and did not want her acknowledging their relationship on social media. Zaina’s friends said JR was a complete wall flower and barely spoke. I believe he may have been trying a persona for the show. I agree on Aria. She gave vibes of how could someone resist me or something. Her picker may be a bit broken so figuring out a just nice guy vs love bomber problematic guy could be hard for her.

Again, I love your perspective on things. I get to see some things that I may have seen differently. My opinion on a few things: JR and Zaina seem like a fake couple. If it's true that JR had an ex-wife who cheated, then he would NOT be okay with Zaina being on this show or being with anyone else. His only "issue" was people saying he treated the show like a hall pass.......ok I thought it wasn't Mariah's place to say Nick is not husband material. You are not coupled with him and he is venting to you and crashing out. I just think she don't know enough about him to say that. Nick knows who Sandy is, and I think he is trying to persuade her into marriage. He knows she doesn't want it. Also, it's foul to take a "trial husband" to meet your mom. I feel like Sandy did that intentionally Scotty is emotionally manipulative. That doesn't make you a bad person but it DOES mean he needs to see a therapist and should do so BEFORE marriage

Scottie over reacted, but in his defense, instead of shooting down his suggestions, Zaina could have suggested an alternative. The compromise discussion was about their long-distance relationship. Neither of them is willing to move to make the relationship work.

I don't think we have enough evidence to say Scottie is abusive. Yelling is not necessarily abuse. That's just how some people express anger and frustration. It has to cross a certain line to be abuse. Aria's reaction is telling. She tells him to stop yelling and leaves the situation. Victims of abuse usually can't do either of those things. That's why so many people stay in abusive relationships. They have trouble walking away.

Some ultimatums are necessary. If you are a woman in your late 30s and you want to have biological kids, you need to give your partner an ultimatum. If your partner isn't ready to have kids, you need to leave them. That's an ultimatum. Ultimatum isn't you have to marry me. It's marry or move on. Sometimes you don't know what you've got till it's gone. Sometimes the prospect of losing someone helps you appreciate what you have.

The problem isn't the age difference. The issue is is 24 old enough to get married. Take JR for example. He got married at 22 to his high school sweetheart. Those marriages rarely last because at 22, you don't have the life experience or dating experience to make a marriage work. People who get married that young often have mid-life crises in their 40s. Of course there are exceptions. My best friend from college got married at 22 and has been happily married for 22 years. But another friend from college who got married at 22 seriously contemplated cheating recently...

Great video!! I think the same thing about everything you said about the couples. I also get the sense that Nick has a problem with JR's skin color and that JR is a colorist. Dave was in his feelings when no one wanted to be his partner and wanted to jet because he was embarrassed.

This came up because I watch the Dear Future Wifey Podcast from time to time. This video just did it for me. I'm out. These people have some real problems, but this ish needs to be sorted in the courts not in the public. He said/ She said, blah, blah, blah. It is a whole trifling mess. Nobody is all right or wrong. Implying that a lesbian couldn't have sex with a man and conceive children is acting like gay people didn't pretend to be straight out of fear and didn't have children only to later come out later once they felt safe to do so. You're telling me Bri wouldn't consider how much simpler their first child's life would be if his parents were together after her wife left her?

I will aslo say that it's clear Tyler didn't tell her about his kids in the pods as that would have been on camera so their relationship definitely started on a lie. After that, I don't think we can definitively say that Tyler ever lied to Ashley again. If we believe Ashley's story he continued to lie by omission until when they eventually discussed it, but she has so many other holes in her story that I don't know if we can believe her story anymore. The big hole in her story to me was saying she saw the first child's birth certificate and made it extremely clear she never saw the twins' birth certificate which seems like an odd thing to admit when you are marrying someone and choose to believe everything they are saying as fact while also admitting to doing background checks, talking to his mother, friends, asking for documentation, etc to show that you weren't naive when marrying this man. I can't see how both statements can be true as she would either have to admit to seeing Tyler's name on the birth certificate and answer why she was okay with that or admit that you weren't as thorough as you implied where the internet did know more than her. I hope I am wrong, but there is a scenario, where he admitted the full truth to her the first time they were off camera and from there they both got their stories straight and were on their best behavior when the cameras were rolling to ensure a great edit and appear to be a perfect couple where all he did was help a friend start a family and helped out when his friend abandoned her to help raise the kids and let people assume the same is true for the twins and that he never lived with her, were a major part of their lives, and he cut off communication a year before as he wanted to start his own family which explains away everything found on the internet. Sometimes things really are too good to be truw.

What really frustrates me is how much Love is Blind is backing Tyler and Ashley where they get publications like People Magazine, Business Insider, and US Weekly pushing only the couples side of the story which has been proven to include lies by Bri, the mother of the children. This would be a huge story if they pushed Bri's side, but they are cowards either thinking they need to prop Tyler and Ashley up for their "marraige statistics" or they knew so much more than they are admitting and are afraid of a lawsuit if they push Bri's side of the story. It honestly baffles me that no one is pushing her side of the story just for clicks and instead are bowing to Netflix's will. I'm so glad she at least got her story out on Jessie Woo's and StorytimeWithRikki's channels and hope her story is shared more to at least let people decide for themselves which they choose to believe. Also, I will never understand if some of the rumors are true about Bri's past, how that would null and void her being a victim in this situation. Life is messy and nothing anyone can do should be used against them when they become a victim themselves. That attitude leads to more victims, not fewer.
