Glad you walked away with something and nobody was injured. We have been to both of these areas a couple of times and Oconee County South Carolina has some pretty great places!

As I am a fine art landscape photographer also, I felt I should complement you on your photos. Your eye is as picky as mine I would guess, after watching this video. I will be visiting the GSMNP in March/April for an extended time. Thanks for the video.

That last one with the Spanish Moss and Palmetto is a stunning photo. Special moment, soft light, and balanced composition.

After my husband died and had to give our home to the federal government within 90 days and be gone… no bridges or anything so had to barge privately. I moved to the smoky mountains of western NC. Its beautiful here. However, in the 10 years I’ve been here full time, it has changed immensely. So many people and traffic jams and housing prices are higher than ever. More building on mountain tops and overcrowding. You now have to have a permit to park in the park. The park service is going crazy with permits. Even for filming in park etc. its all very sad. I moved to swain county , bryson city/Cherokee area.

Having lived on cumberland island. I spent some time on Jekyll at the old hotel and I know where that beach is. Its grown a lot, but still a small state owned island that is accessible and doable .

Hey guys! Found the show on my local PBS streaming service. Nicely done but will say the format of the show is much different than expected. Much more about the location and history vs. finding photographic compositions, etc. How many episodes will be in Season 1?

This video hits home for several reasons. First I grew up in the area of George L. Smith State Park. I love driving through central Georgia farm country and once stood in an ant mound while photographing a pecan orchard near Reidsville. It was worth it. The cotton fiels shot looked worth it also. GLS Park is quite small but very lovely and the trees are awesome. I'm going back with a boat one day soon. Also I've never seen an alligator there. Great shots !

For only having sand and water you gathered some pretty amazing shots! Going there in July on a family vacation but I’m taking my camera gear. What lens were you shooting with?

I almost cried when i saw the line of condos .. What an eyesore.. I remember when things were beautiful , before the condos ...At that time, there were sand dunes , seaoaks, shrubs just absolutely beautiful... Like you were saying , there's not much there to take a picture of... How sad.

What's up guys. I'm thinking of moving to Tennessee and there are not many landscape photographers in the area. I'm in AZ right now doing a KZbin channel and wondering the future of it. Not only has your channel eased the worry its excited me to get out there. Thanks Subbed On board 🍻
