I know a software you can cut down A-roll faster than it took to record live, and export as a series of clips you import into CapCut. Super fast to add captions and your video is already all cut up to add transitions / effects. Bet you'd save a few hours of life a week.

GoPro is garbage. I’m tired of downloading a 5 minute video and then having to trim each section I want and then exporting it. It wastes so much memory and takes me 3 times as long to edit. Insta360 is so much easier.

Capcuts autocut feature limits the amount of videos/ pics you can input for a video where as Quik doesnt.

I cannot get my bluetooth on my phone to connect with the camera. The phone can see the DJI but it will not connect.

I’ve had both Insta360 and GoPro. I’ve only found overheating with insta. I’ve bought a few of them in the past but only love using GoPro now as they don’t overheat.

I have this camera and love it. I traded my bulky DSLR gear in on this one. Aside from not being able to change lenses, the G7Xii can do 90% of what my DSLR could, and some things it couldn't. So there are way more positives than negatives. For my shooting, I rarely need a long zoom so I don't miss that. Another tip concerns the flash. Using a flash indoors makes everything look blue because of the color temperature of the flash. An easy way to fix that is to take an opaque film container ( A photo film container ) and place a piece of amber colored flash gel inside the container. Cut out a narrow strip on one side of the container and then you can slide the container over the flash arm on the camera. The amber colored gel will color balance the flash to the indoor lighting. If there is sunlight mostly lighting the room, then the gel probably won't be needed because sunlight is close to the same color temperature as a flash. The film container is small so it can be stuck inside a pocket when not needed, then quickly added to the flash.

I purchased GoPro a few years ago and I still use the GoPro. But, I would never buy another GoPro product. Why? you might ask. 1) The customer service is terrible. They outsource it to the Philippines, and although nice people, they have zero power to do anything to fix issues. I know more about the cameras than they do. GoPro has no ability to receive their own product for repairs, and instead offer a small discount to buy a new camera. 2) The Product is so unreliable. I have had nothing but trouble with the camera and no way to resolve the issues (see reason 1). It overheats, freezes for no apparent reason, I can no longer replay footage directly from the camera and the batteries are rubbish. 3) The app is just about useless. It is inconsistent, unreliable and sometimes connects and sometimes it does not connect. So, you got the picture, the company and their product sucks. I will never buy another gopro product again. When this one dies I will toss it in the garbage can and buy a DJI.
