Yea I think the links too old. Also I couldn't get figure out how to get it working so I think you should try for the regular method to piston bolts

​@@Runtergesprungenum no I don't have a link to the world, I just went in my redstone world and was playing around with it. Piston bolts aren't that complex once you know how they work so I just took his bolt and built it a few times to see if I could get it to work. Just takes a few different angles and the right timings

when going from the overworld to the nether, the game finds a position that it would like to generate the portal by dividing x and z by 8. it then checks if there is an active portal within 16 horizontal blocks in the target dimension. but since it divides the horizontal coordinates by 8, it actually gives you a radius of 128 blocks in the overworld where portals can all be linked to one in the nether- this just happens to be the perfect radius to fit a despawn sphere. so basically to link them all, you just have to take the coordinates of the portal in the nether you want them all linked to, multiply by 8, then set your AFK position there.

you could actually, but you'd have to send a chestcart ahead of the cart the player is in, and then you'd have to detect whether it's a cart with a player in it or a chest cart, and then put the chestcart aside, remove the first item from it, check the inventory, put the item back in, and then send the cart along if it's not the selected station. it should be technically possible, but I cant imagine a compact way to make it work. Using comparators to send a hexadecimal signal on one side of the bolt is probably the move, although you can also do some stuff with pulse length detection with bolts that arent using fullspeed transitions and stations. The fullspeed bit is actually a pretty serious challenge, as you really dont have a lot of time for things to happen between recieving the signal ahead of the player(and cart) and the cart showing up where the turn needs to be (or not be)
